Oh, ok then. Thanks for explaining that to me Retiate. Also, couldn't you use WD- 40 too?
I think WD-40 eats away at plastics.
Why would someone wrap their Crossbow in duct tape...

#99535 Krylon Paint Spraycan
Posted by nerfboi on 09 February 2007 - 11:45 PM in Modifications
But to answer a few of your question, at my local Wal*Mart, a can of KrylonFusion is about $2-3.
There should be a dull black for like 96 cents, but it's not Krylon brand but pretty good.
Hope this helps.

#98724 At3k Vs Nf
Posted by nerfboi on 23 January 2007 - 11:56 PM in General Nerf
Hey Nite walker, where would you buy 'em?Well, if you aren't good at modding and you want to make a clip NF... I'd go for the at3k. Get the two pack so that you can just use the other one if you mess up and they cost around the same as NF's. I also prefer a good at3k more than an NF.

#98295 Is This A Good Price?
Posted by nerfboi on 14 January 2007 - 11:46 PM in General Nerf
Even better yet you can get them for $15 USD at Dollar General Stores.
Really? AT3Ks are still sold in stores? I thought they went out of production...
Yeah, they are sold in twin packs and dated 2006. Big suprise to me too.
Would you happen to know if they sold it at Target or Wal*mart by any chance?

#98286 Homemade Bladders
Posted by nerfboi on 14 January 2007 - 07:46 PM in Homemades
AHA!!! I told you!!!Actually pop bottles can hold around 120psi. I wouldn't put that much in them but they are usable as airtanks. Carrtoon modded his AT3K so that it was semi-auto using pop bottles. The bottles had schrader valves on the caps so that he could switch bottles really easy. He got about 4 shots from a 20 oz. bottle and about 8 from a 2 liter.

#98228 New Nerf Tech Target!
Posted by nerfboi on 13 January 2007 - 03:58 PM in General Nerf
How good was the original Tech Target? That was the mega shooting one, right?
The origionals were not too shabby; if this new one is a step up in power it must be quite the kicker.
Yea the oridginal(sp?) ones seem to not be at "durable". Mine broke in a matter of days after streching the spring, AR removal, and CPVC barrel mod. The place where the barrel connects to is the one that broke.

Is this a GOOD quality for the price and a budget of $50?
http://www.lowes.com...0-02&lpage=none
It is Dremel brand, but you need to explain how often and for what purposes this will be used for (will it be exclusively for modding guns, or do you need it for work/projects?)
This thing is your best friend. I used it for my LS and Mav mods, and it works beautifully. The 5-speed Dremel that I use is a good choice for this bit, and I recommend both items to nerfboi instead of the one in his pic, but it's ultimately his decision.
I would be using to sand/cut away plastic to make the gun shell fit better. No I won't use it for work, considering that I don't do projects really. For example, I'm planing to cut away the ammo holders on the first generation nitefinders. So would that be a decant tool for my case?
