Ok, on my Mazerick i did the basic AR removal mod and added a few pennies behind the spring. But now my Slider/ cocking mechanism(sp?) just snapped off. Is there any way to fix this?

I heard this from someone else on the forum. But they said you can drill a hole and then slide a nail through the hole.

I see only one problem with that. Eventually, the plastic at the base of the nail will crack just as the stock peg did. For a much more permanent fix I would recommend replacing the slide entirely with a metal rod from home depot. Then you just have to put two bushings on either side of the rod to prevent it from falling out. Now you have a slider thats damn near indestructible!
