I've broken my fair share of Blastfires too. They have some of the most finicky valves I've ever dealt with. Awesome job of course. Actually, my next mod in my "free time" was going to be this exact thing. Good to see it working though.

I don't know if anyone has done this yet, but I put a stretched out Maxshot spring in my LS. It is literally the same diameter as the LS stock spring, but a thicker gauge steel and much better performance. I haven't measured distances, but I can see that it out shoots the stock spring. Just throwing in my 2 cents. Good job Carrtoon.

I am seriously considering closing this topic. The frantic posting here is out of control.

No one should be going out of their way to contact Hasbro about this. If they want to tell us anything, it will come through one of us who gets contacted.

More importantly, no one is going to get into the toy fair. It is NOT open to the public, only the trade. Unless you own a toy store, I highly doubt you will be getting in, let alone paying the $130 entrance fee.

I'm not going to close this just yet, but let's keep the speculation down to a minimum. In fact, let's not have ANY of it.

I don't have to justify my actions to anyone but the owners of this site. If I had the time or cared enough, I could pull out several others who were banned just for back sassing.

How do you know it only bothers me? Have you taken a poll?

If someone can get a hold of Hasbro, more power to them. I know how the company is set up and I was really just trying to save people the time they would waste on the phone or with unanswered emails going to the corporate office.

Press releases go out sporadically. It's not like I'm on their mailing list or something. I have had to sign Non-disclosure agreements with Hasbro in the past to get certain information. They tell me what I can and cannot mention here. Come to a war sometime and see what I tell some people that I can't mention on the boards. I know you used to.

You are free to think what you want. If you have a problem with the way I handled this, take it up with Vacc or CX.

For the record, I'm not going to engage in a flame war here. I just thought someone like yourself deserved a response.

Fair enough my friend. Is the guy I banned a friend or acquaintance of yours? If so, you should have told me. I'd be more than willing to give that guy another shot. FA here was pretty much as thorough as I could have ever been. I am reserving my awesome factor until AFTER it comes out. To me, as much hope as I had for the LS, it was an SOB to mod well. The LS is a little complicated from what I saw, but I have not taken one apart.

It cocks like the maverick or scout, in that you slide the silver top part back. It's very similar in body size to an actual m-16 or ar-15. I have held one and it just feels nice. The stock does feel a little weird, in that it was thin. However, it might have been changed since then.

For the record, my drawing of the blue arm is NOT to scale. I forget how far it came out. The one I saw said "ARMED" on it to tell you the gun was, well... armed.

I held it yes, but did not fire it. I'm not sure where it catches. I saw no internals. Come to think of it, I never do. I knew about the LongShot before it came out, but I didn't see the inside of one until I owned one myself.
