....So, this is what happens when I can't get on for a couple of days...
A weekly war comes out and a mini war appears.
I might be able to go to the mini war but, I wont be able to go to the hamline war..

...Not to shit on the parade or anything but, I visited the site today and it was packed.
There were people at all the picnic tables that I could see, the basketball court, the playground and the pagodas were fully occupied.
The only usable portion of the park would have been the corner next to the baseball diamond and the LARPers (south-east corner), it has lots of trees but nowhere to setup or chill.
Backup locations?
(I'm guessing that Highland would be the default but, There's a park barely a mile from there that would be good enough; Langford park [on google maps].)
I could get pics of the park if anybody asks.

I would be good for an after war feast as long as there would be some vegetarian fare, I.E. NOT famous Dave's (the only things I can eat there are the muffins and their PB+J), so my vote goes to Mexican food.

I think a night war would be pretty cool (I've always wanted to try out the firefly for what it was meant for, however ridiculous that is).
I'm thinking that this would be a good situation for the use of stock darts and a black light (so we don't lose all of them), or some sort of glow in the dark stickers on the back of stefans.
Yeah, Highland would probably be the better place to do this sort of thing.

I don't know what I am going to be doing this weekend [haven't heard back from the place since the interview], so the night war is still a possibility...but I really don't know..
In other news I will be fielding my xbow, I expect it to preform much much better than it looks.. Which is pretty bad because I've only been able to sand about 2/3rds of it...

I think that the name generator could be better used to give names to new games to play at wars.

-Powerball with fewer people should be done with pistols.
-Being on a roll for a few moments throughout the day.

Name: A Work In Progress. For now, I like 'the atombow' also, I might call it that later, when it's finished.
Mods Done: 1/16th aluminum spring rest reinforcement, four screw posts replaced with 6/32 bolts, epoxy putty and 6/32 locking nuts, Brass strips bolted to the plunger rod, the plunger rod end is bolted on and held with epoxy putty, CPVC coupler'd with some deaspace added to ease use.
Integrations: none at the moment, probably an AT2K later on..
Comments: Formerly 'the chilibow' (post 43 of this thread). It hits ~90' which is enough. It might not be pretty but it holds it's own.

Secondary- CPVC couplered NF banded with spring addition
Alternate secondary- Green Light saber
The BBB/NF team did well until MNSBW when I found myself confronted with SM1500s. Their superior ROF and range have led me to rethink the BBB, said shortcomings will be addressed with my new primary.
