#209656 Ff Cocking Question Respond Asap

It's probably because the plunger rod was upside down.

#216011 Nevermind.

Posted by Hoceky on 02 March 2009 - 08:11 PM in Off Topic

I had a problem like this except right here on Nerfhaven. Splitlip would know about it because I waited 5 months for the seller (not Splitlip) him to ship my blasters. I'm afraid there is nothing you can do is raise the dispute up to the next level. Why are you helping your brother anyways? Isn't this his problem?

My MG has the same RoF as my RF20. I wonder why your does that? Maybe it's a defect. Return it and get another and see if the same thing happens. ;)

You can always hammer a screwdriver that will fit into the back of the plunger until it comes out. This is what I did to my friends CF.

#214802 Switch Shot Question

Posted by Hoceky on 24 February 2009 - 09:57 PM in General Nerf

Unfortunatly, I only have normal, if you mean the whole gun, then it's about 3/4" too big for normal, so I'm guessing that it wouldn't fit in thinwall either.

God damn server lag, the same thing happened to me!

#182817 Unknown Nf Piece

Posted by Hoceky on 10 October 2008 - 11:24 AM in General Nerf

When I reassembled my Nitefinder I heard a rattiling noise when I cocked the gun. I opened it up and I found a very small square metal washer that had threads in it which meant it was for a screw. It is about 4mm x 4mm and about 1mm thick. I am now wondering where this goes. Any help is appeciated, even if you had this past.

Also, in the campaign scoring part, only the gold skulls give you multipliers. The silver skulls are just for fun.

Right on the ball again Maeric.

#201750 Anyone Else Have This Problem?

Posted by Hoceky on 07 January 2009 - 09:44 PM in General Nerf

This hasn't happened to me. I am always sure to grab the back of the plunger before dry-firing so I can slow it down (I have an older, non-recalled version).

Same here.

#193205 Air Gun Integrations

Posted by Hoceky on 01 December 2008 - 12:13 AM in Modifications

I think blue still has two of them for $55.

#193221 Air Gun Integrations

Posted by Hoceky on 01 December 2008 - 12:41 AM in Modifications

That would be a rediculously short pump-stroke, and you would probably have to pump it ALOT just to fire one shot. You would have to find a way to lengthen the travel of the DTG's slide for it to be effective.

I'm guessing I'll have to elongate the slits on where the slide rests.

Then you may as well make a new cocking handle, because you are ripping up a piece of plastic that has no structure whatsoever. You will make a mess of the handle if you do that.

Posted by Hoceky on 01 December 2008 - 12:24 AM in Modifications

I can use the slide to pump it.

Do you mean the DTG cocking handle?

That isn't it.

I didn`t say that it was the same one. I said it was similar. I you are going to argue lets take this to PM.

I think he means that the MS and the PC are in the same picture for comparison. You would need to own both blasters to do this.

I anyone out there has ever had this problem before can you please help me?

#179177 Rf20 Problem

Posted by Hoceky on 23 September 2008 - 07:03 PM in Modifications

There are 2 screws in that area that you can't see at first glance. So unscrew those or just saw off that piece and you should be good.

Do you mean on the underside of the black piece cause I got those already.

Around here, many grocery stores carry it, but it's on a shelf after the registers.

I'd recommend going to your grocery store and asking. But I also second badger's recommendation of Goo Gone as a substitute.

Thanks Just Some Bob, it helps alot.
