To be honest I think an oak crossbow would look so cool stained and coated. You can always reinforce the internals with copper plates like drac did on the Lilith. If it only cost you like 300$ for the tools the wood is extremely accessible I'm pretty sure if you would be able to get a ton of money from crossbow fans to make wood shells with copper reinforcements and would probably pay you back after 3 or 4 crossbows.

A would crossbow would be really cool. I'm thinking use like blood oak or something because they tend to withstand a lot of pressure so the spring won't break it.

Cant wait for apocalypse. I will be using a pump action pullscrt... Kane is nice enough to also give me a box of spare parts so i may have a loaner blaster or two made by the war. Will also bring extra parts if blasters break. If anyone has a about 20ft of delrin rod cut in 3ft segments let me know.

Yes I am a kid and from my perspective it is fun as heck to play with and in the 5-0 round I got rekted by Aeromech when he was using it (dang his shot was right on target) the gun shoots accurately (for a nerf gun) and it was my first time using homemades but I got the hang of it. I didn't do great hitting maybe 1/5 of my shots but if I keep using one I will definitely become more accurate. In summary I will personally be buying ones as soon as they are released from Aeromech

Yes it has it uses a k79 seal with a 1 in od. You can find all the mcmaster components for chris' blasters in his build notes.

Hey guys if you don't know today was frozen foam and Aeromech actually brought the prototype with him I got to use it a bit and for all the people hating on it I promise that it worked amazing the ergonomics were amazingly comfortable and the shots were hard, fast and far by far one of the best nerf guns I have seen and the best one I have used I will personally be buying one when it comes out

"Accuracy" your never gonna get that in nerf the best you can get is an overhauled stryfe with koosh darts. To be honest nerf=no accuracy!

Van were you using flywheels or sprinters to test accuracy because with one wrap of etape on a flywheel and running it on a 2-3s lipo (9-12 volts) you will be shooting koosh at a pretty tight group from 10 ft away...

What I was think is a 1.5 in diameter pvc tube cut in half and put a pool noodle cut down the middle over that and drill a couple holes in the Zeus to string it on there or use hot glue and epoxy.

The bottum two are loaners but i may want to use the pumpscrt and whoever is using it may have to use the pcsr for a round.
