( I didn't want risk getting in trouble by starting a new thread, so I'll add this here :) )

Here's my kids and friends, version of the Nerf Tank. Their friend's Dad help build. I think it is great!

Nerf Tank: Codename Buttercup

Enjoy.

Well, with a cooler paint job it will probably end up in the hands of all those Stromtroopers who attend comic conventions. I agree, $50 makes it way over priced, but anything connected with Star Wars tends to be over priced when they first comes out. That's to over the Star Wars license fee they have to pay to make it in the first place. And, because they over produce all that crap, action figures, books, masks, lame nerf blasters, it all ends up in the discount bin.

When the blaster lands in the budget shop I might pick one up and re-paint just to put on a wall.

In Topic: Vulcan Ammo Box Idea

(This thread may not get far, but I a have idea for a upgraded Vulcan box, so I'll state it here instead of starting a new thread)

I'm modding a Firefly to use a Vulcan belt, and it crossed my mind a clear or smoked plastic Vulcan ammo box and belt would be a cool upgrade for the Vulcan. You could mod the latch that hold the belt in place with the light from the FireFly and then fire use the glow darts. It's not a mod you could easily do on you own, but Hasbro could knock off a clear Vulcan belt, and box, in no time.

Just a thought.

Here is the final part of my Spitfire Nerf Long Shot with my Jet Stream Mod. Again, the basic concept is for the Air Stream unit to blast a high speed stream of air into the barrel giving the dart an added boost and fast current of air to ride on. It's still needs so improvement. The end results of the test firing were not spectacular. It needs more work.

In Topic: How Old Are You Right Now?

I'm old enough to be your grandfather, but young at heart enough to enjoy the world of Nerf Blasters. There's still a few new tricks this old dog can teach you young pups.

Cheers.
