One method I've used would be to glue 3 1/2in cpvc barrels into a length of 1-1/4in pvc, and then use a coupler & reducer to attach that to the blaster. If you're only using streamlines cpvc would definitely be too tight for an airgun though.

I cant seem to find a CPVC supplier.

You're from San Ramon? Both the OSH's in that area have CPVC. The Dublin one has short lengths of brass, too.

Given how short the barrels are, what he did is probably fine adhesive-wise. Of course, there's never any harm in hotgluing the hell out of it.
