A good way to make that slot on the side (and to keep it very uniform) would be to use a router. I have a router attachment for my dremel that works quite well. Has adjustable depth too.
I find the single-bolt priming to be quite an interesting concept, which holds promise for other homemades as well. Also the simple catch design seems quite effective. Overall, I'm impressed. Good job.

Wow, ik ben niet de enige nederlander hier!
Oh en is de range niet een beetje laag voor OMW kit 1&2?

Um... English?

I just noticed in your pics that you reinforced the bolt sled. Is it possible that it could be scraping somewhere and causing this phenomena? Is there a way you could test this and get back to us on it?

Well if you remove the lock entirely then you can typically only prime the LS via the left bolt handle

I have never had that issue. If I could see a video it might help. Its been awhile since I had a bolt-primed LS.

If I were you Juggernaut I wouldn't just come in here saying that I could come up with a much better method of validation. This site has been around probably almost as long as you have. Things are the way they are for a reason. Like that button at the top of every page that says Code of Conduct. That's there for reference. It explains the rules that people need to follow if they want to stick around. Of course that's just an example that I'm giving, and is certainly not the only example here. Essentially, if you don't like the rules, there are plenty of other Nerf sites to go to.
