I have a really quick question. You know the part of the Magstrike with the safety( at the end of the bladder) well, I lost the green peice, so I tried to plug it with hot glue. I know hot glue is a poor air sealing agent, so I tried Epoxy Steel. Would this be a good air sealing agent?

Hey people of Nerfhaven, I have another question about my gun. I band my NF because I fell like I need more ranges. Recently, a friend of mine said that banding will weaken my plunger rod. Is this true?Also, if this has been disccused somewhere just give me the link and let this thread die please (Yes, I searched about this).

Okay, I decided to make a thread that helps new nerfers understand our Nerfing language. I will cover some of the abbreviations and stuff that may be confusing. Hey everyone, I got a Magstrike yesterday and I plugged Op, gave space to bladder and removed safety. I was searching today on the modifications directory and I saw a write up where it said to band the bladder.
Here's the link: Right Here Notice on the 2nd post, another user (nerfer34, I think) stated his bladder "popped". Now, I don't know if I should actually risk it by banding, or just leave it as if. Of course, I would band if I knew it's safe, since it will increase range (duh). I just want to know if you guys have tried to band it, and did it work for you? A few suggestions would help, and I'd prefer if you actually had a Magstrike other than predicting the outcomes.

Hey People of NerfHaven, I'm a pretty new Member and I just tried a BBB mod, simply with a barrel, PETG, Modman's PETG. I electrical-taped the PETG at the end, to fit into my barrel and it seemed very stable. Now my problem is that with my 9" PETG, it actually get terrible ranges, like 10 feet. I followed instructions and I still don't understand. Any help?
