In Topic: Is all of this stuff good for rewiring a Zeus?

I just did a Zeus rewire recently and 16awg worked fine. The right side channel that used to house the magazine lock is wide enough for 16awg with no issues.

If you put in an ir led & ir photosensor to detect dart launch & put a small magnet near the trailing edge of the conveyor's edges (the two ridges which grab a dart & push it into the flywheels), you can get data about the conveyor's reliability in grabbing the darts, and about how many revolutions of the conveyor are needed per dart. Just use a hal-effect sensor near the flywheel entrance to detect when each ridge has traveled the length of the breach.

Also Dr Snikka cages are canted, which is no bueno at high speeds. Your darts will whirlybird with canting at high velocities. A straight cage, high torque motors, good flywheel, and good heavier darts (like Ekind) will get you great accuracy.

Excellent! Riverside is closer than LA for my wife and I. I also know of a Riverside nerfer who'd like local nerf wars.
