Replacement Hyperfire dart belt?

01 June 2017 - 08:22 PM

Does anyone know if its possible, and where, to get a replacement pusher belt for a Hyperfire?

Kind of accidentally slipped with a scalpel while doing some work on mine... oops.

Gun computer MkIV

02 November 2016 - 01:48 AM

Hey all

So have been stupid busy the last few months and havent done much nerf work, but I scored a cheap Hyperfire on the weekend, so thats inspired me to do some more modding!

First was my basic MkI Arduino controlled Stryfe and Rapidstrike: http://nerfhaven.com...nd-rapidstrike/

Then my MkII with an OLED and extras: http://nerfhaven.com...hot-counter-v2/

And then the MkIII with a fully reworked Stampede: http://nerfhaven.com...controller-mk3/

Now its time to see what else I can add in to a MkIV !

I've already removed some of the locks and put in better wiring to the Hyperfire, but electronically it's still stock.

The obvious things i added in the previous guns will be there:

- Mag size detection

- Round counting

- Voltage display

- Current draw display

- Jam door open detection

- Safety switch

- Single shot, three shot, full auto shot selection

- Stopping shooting at 00 rounds

- Buzzer for safety/no ammo notification

I'll use a 1.8" colour LCD, so i might add a way to change the colour using a trimpot.

Any other suggestions for things to add in? The Hyperfire has a stack of room in the front end so I can fit all sorts of things in.

Arduino gun controller mk3

Edit: Parts list: http://nerfhaven.com...e-3#entry352455

Edit: Arduino code: http://nerfhaven.com...e-3#entry352474

So my first arduino in a nerf was a 7 segment based counter with magazine size detection for a Stryfe and Rapidstrike:

The mk2 added an OLED screen, and voltage monitoring in a Rayven:

Now comes the mk3 for a Stampede.

This one still has all the things from the others like round counting and magazine size detection etc, but adds a full colour 1.8" LCD screen, battery voltage and current draw display, safety switch, a joystick to select single shot, 3 shot burst, and full auto firing mode selection, and a buzzer to indicate when its out of ammo.

The mk1 and 2 were in flywheel blasters so the motor control wasn't done by the arduino. But the Stampede isn't flywheel, and will have its motor controlled by the arduino which lets me select the firing mode (1/3/auto).

At the moment its breadboarded while i code it, but will probably open up the stampede and start looking at installation this week.

More to come!

Would anyone be interested in an ammo counter kit?

09 February 2016 - 09:06 PM

I've been asked by a few people if i'd make them one of my 7 segment style ammo counters like i used in my Stryfe and Rapidstrike:

If i make up a kit, including pre-loaded arduino, all components, switches, and a custom made PCB, would anyone be interested?

My Nerf shot counter V2

Edit: circuit in post on page 2 here: http://nerfhaven.com...er-v2/?p=351846

So heres a peek at my next Arduino Nerf round counter. Will have some extras this time...

Its not fitted to a gun yet, so im pressing switches manually.
