My friend (Alex_the_skater on NH) just received an SM 5000 and watched FV's video on youtube. We have used the search function but have not been able to find a writeup for the "bolt" mod he did. Can anyone direct me?

Some of you may remember me, I havent posted here regularly in about a year, just a post or two here and there...

Well anyway, I was walking around in the mall with a few buddies, and we wandered into KB toys, and saw the buzz bee shotgun. My friend prompted me to buy it, and we had fun walking around shooting random people in macy's

Now I want to mod it. I have ripped out the + rods in the clips, removed the AR's, and sawed off the end. I have a lot of 9/16th brasss lying around, is there a barrel mod I could do thats actually worth it? Should I replace the spring? what have you done?

I recently brassed and silenced my 750 (old) just by sticking the barrel in through the front, and The silencer was good, it didn't make a peep, but ranges are NOT what I expeced, and are pitifully low. I would say around 35' on 5 pumps.I realized the problem was the restrictors. The way my barrel sat in the gun, Part of the barrel was blocking off about half the air flow.. I thought, oh, i'll just open the gun and drill the restricors, surprised I hadn't already done it, but when I went to open it, the orange part on the front stopped me. I'm afraid iff I just rip through it, I might be left with an unsightly crack, or even just a big hole where it used to be. Help , please?
