If tried to plug the pump on my friend's AT3000 two times, unsuccessfully. Once with "Gorilla Glue" and another with hot glue. Both times the plug popped out after about 10 shots. Any ideas what went wrong, and what we can do to be successful?

Is it the one in the plunger? If so the whole end of the plunger is lubricated and you probably had some grease in the valve when you filled it. The glue wont stick to the grease at all. Take a q-tip and clean it out well, then try again. You could put some tape over the hole afterwards for safe measures.

After you get the lubricant out, use epoxy instead of hot glue.

I'd recommend hot glue actually. It will create a better seal than epoxy and only takes a few minutes to dry. One of my 2k pumps has been plugged with hot glue for about a year now and it's never given me a problem; the other one has been plugged with hot glue for six months and has also been fine. Those were plugged with hi temp glue, so I'm not sure about low.

I have used several glues in plugging pumps. My recommendation is hi-temp hot glue.
1: It's cheap and available everywhere.
2: It can be applied easily and with no mixing and dried rapidly in small quantities.
3: The nozzle of a hot glue gun is perfect for placing over OPRVs to control what gets glue on it.
4: After drying, it is easy to cut away excess glue using a razor blade, boxcutter, or other instrument.
5: Since hot glue is weak, it can be removed from the OPRV for use in wars where specific guns (usually 4Bs and Titans) cannot have their pumps plugged as a precaution against their enormous power.
6: Using hot glue for small tasks will save stronger bonding agents for heavy-duty jobs.
