For my next mod I will be working with brass and in order to cut brass nicely I will need pipe/tubing cutters. Does anyone recommend a specific brand or model? Thanks, nerfalchemist.

K&S brand. You're better off using PETG though.

Ok thanks. Oh and I can’t use PETG for what I’m doing but I plan to use it in future mods.

I just use a fresh metal/hack saw. It works out fine.

I will warn you- pipe cutters will bend the tubing inward, making it useless for a breech covering. If I need the end to be flat, I use pipe cutters to lightly mark the tubing, use a Dremel cutting wheel to cut around the tube, and then use sandpaper to deburr and smooth the cut.

I use just an off brand style of pipe cutter. But since brass is very bendable, get one with a pointed rounding tool on the end. Only use that if you need to round the tubing out. They also work beautifully on other tube types such as PVC, CPVC, PETG, and a few others.

All you need it a simple K&S pipe cutter, nothing fancy. Just turn it slowly and don't tighten it too much untill it gets really loose on the pipe again, then it wont warp
