I am trying to make a Semi-automatic blow forward gun, the trigger mechanism will just be a washer. Right now I am working on the desgin, the problem is that I don't can figur out how to make the blow-forward mechanism

. So does somewhone got a diagram for me?

Your idea may sound awesome, but the amount of air lost on the forward stroke of the tube will be crippling. You may be able to pull it off but it would require more air than a small tank could handle. Or worst case scenario, you lose all air when you fire and the dart only goes 2 feet from the barrel. I have thought about this and it is impractical. You would need just to much air. But if you wish to continue with this idea then you will need 2 small springs. One on each side of the pipe to pull it back when it is pushed forward. Kind of like an air soft gun, thats the best example I can give you.
