[CD-R]

So, the battle for new york is over. That was one of the best wars I've ever been to. Even though we didn't have too many out of staters, we still kicked some ass. All of the hosting duties went very smoothly and, apart from the bees, we didn't have any problems.
I'm tired now, I'll post details later.

That war was one of the best I've been to in a while (despite losing all but one game), I had a fantastic time, and like CD-R said, the only problem was the bees. I'll leave skitzo to elaborate on that topic. I'm exceptionally sore right now, but anyway:

Highlights:
- Dominating the CTF round; getting a well-placed shot on Ben, and letting Titan Kid get the flag and sprint off as the rest of the opposing team arrived to help out their already-dead teammate.
- Being pinned on both sides but somehow getting out and getting mp130 in the back of the leg as he sprinted away to reload.
- Losing the outpost round, but still having an awesome times doing it, running through a dried up river with Matt in the end, only to be cornered and shot to a bruised pulp by skitzo, CD-R and Titan Kid.

More to come later, my brain needs to rest along with the rest of my body. Thanks to everyone who made it out today.

I am Andres, the kid that Skitzo brought to the war and also got attacked by bees. This war was my first war and not my last. This sport is obviously better than paint ball and I hope to continue. That is all I have to say.

That was the best game we've ever had in Saxon. I dominated with my titan. I also thought it was funny how the squirrels were throwing acorns at us the whole time.

By reading this thread, some of you may get the hint that there was an incident involving bees. Well, there was, except they were yellow jackets.
Skitzo and nerf beginner were hiding in the bushes during a pistol round, when they accidentally disturbed a bees nest. I was walking around the field, as I was already out, when I heard shouting and running. I looked behind me, and saw the two of them charging out of the bushes at top speed being pursued by a number of insects. Instead of running away from everybody else, they ran straight at the people who were already out. Because they were being persued, the bees followed them into the crowd, and stung everybody. After seeing this, I took off in the other direction. However, Skitzo had stopped running around in circles, and was now running in the same direction that I was; still being chased by bees. I yelled, "don't follow me, you're gonna get me stung too!" So I ran faster, and managed to keep from getting stung. In the end, most people got stung, and we were VERY lucky that no one was allergic to bees.
So, if you were wondering, there's your answer.

Well, the weather was bee-utiful and most everyone brought their A game on sunday. (As opposed to their Bee game)
I felt a little under the weather, but there is nothing better to wake yourself up then getting nailed by titan-kid.

My highlights:
+ The fantastic attack Kenji, Skitzo, someone else and myself pulled off at the end of one of the games. Everything worked out perfectly, it was a textbook push.
+ Some of the other fanstastic battles that took place on the cliff.
+ Another great game of outpost to close it out.
+ Wielding the deadly sword and actually recording some kills. Haha!

And some lowlights:
- I wasn't stung, but other people were. It is quite frankly the first time I have ever even seen bees in those woods.
- The hissy fit one team threw in the three team game. Come on people if try to wait until the other teams take each other out, you get what you deserve.....

It was great to have the people that came, especially nerf-beginer who played like a veteran. It was fun.

Fuck Bees!

The first time I got attacked by bees I was running from cover to cover, I was about to jump over a log or something and a wasp bit my arm in three places, at that point my brain short circuited and I forgot to jump and ended up running into the log.

The second time was during the gunslinger round where Andreas and I were mostly just hanging around until anyone got close to us.
It was only when we decided to go after titan kid that the action really started.
We were closing in on our targets, we had some nice cover and we were pushing his team into the others.
I was taking a couple pot shots then I notice Andreas smacking himself in the face then he ran away, something switched in my head... Beeeeees!!
We both shot out of the bushes running full speed, confusing the shit out of everyone else.
I thought there were gone after running a little bit, they weren't I dropped my Lnl and began chasing Rob because I should try to share the pain.
So we single handedly ended the round and made us leave the area.

Last time I've been stung by anything was when I was 5.
At this war I got stung over 13 times, I guess that makes up for all those years I haven't been stung.
Hope to use that field again sometime.


Highlights:
The reactions I got after people saw my Lbb.
Some lady on the trail saying "Uh oh, paint ball!"
My group doing realy well in the first two rounds even though we lost the first one.
Charging DX and a couple others with Titan Kid after a classic "three... two... one... go!" countdown.
Coming around a corner, scaring Titan Kid then running back and coming up behind him on the rock and getting him in the back.
Chasing Al as he ran around the field trying to capture another outpost.
The Titan vs Lbb duel in the parking lot.

Pretty much in agreement with everyone else; aside from the bees it was a great day.

Fun war! Luckily I was not among the stung crowd, though I was mad paranoid because my black hair probably wouldn't go over well with the hive. When I arrived back at Conn, I found that my Maxshot had arrived. Pretty pissed about the timing of that.

Personal highs and lows:

-Just barely hitting titan kid with an impossible arcing shot up the cliff.
-Watching Skitzo run right up to me and watching the bees not being fooled. I guess Asian wasn't on the menu.
-Hiding behind a tree during "Gunslinger Hell" as my partner went off somewhere to piss. Luckily no one noticed that I was alone.
-Shooting someone on my own team right in the chest point blank because he suddenly burst out of a bush right at me.
-Getting stuck in a huge thorn bush while being shot at.
-Getting shot in the head right after declaring that I'd been hit by someone else.
-Rushing at certain people and watching them run away.
-Taking positions by moving and flanking more often than actually shooting.
-Running out of ammo during the Outpost round and returning fire with darts fired at me.
