I remember when I first got a bbb, and what I wanted to do with it. I can't really remember why I never did it, but just a little while ago I was sitting around wanting to do something nerf, and I remembered this idea.
Half an hour later..

And here is where the barrel cracks down.

And a (bad) video..

The next thing I want to do to this is to integrate the cocking of the gun into the cracking of the barrel, so you could load, cock, shoot, repeat without any barrel priming needed.
I currently have no good ideas on how to do this, so any of your ideas on the matter would be great.

Nice hinge- action barrel you have there. WHat kind of ranges do you get with it?

Great, ive been looking for something to do with my bbb besides the standard barrel replacement mod. I think i just might do this. What kind of ranges do you get on it though? From the (bad) video it look like the darts were moving a decent speed.

I haven't taken it out for an official range test yet, but I would guess that it hits somewhere in the sixties.

Maybe you could have two metal rods on hinges that are connected to the cracking part so when you push the gun forward the rods push on the cracking part and then they fold down.

You, man, have loose darts. I say this because yours are easy to get in the barrel, and you only get in the sixties. Wait... 60's with TWO darts? Never mind then. Nice mod tho. I could stand do be cleaned up a bit...
