Okay. Try doing some research. There are plenty of brass SuperMaxx 5000 mods out there...matter of fact, there's even one on this site. Don't be lazy.

...And just so you know, the SM5000 write-up here, when correctly performed, is said to be extremely powerful. It was banned from YANOs along with most homemades, it I am not mistaken.

Because its the same exact system of a 5000, he asked input on how the mod worked, so if brass works well on 1500, then it would work well on 5000. Thats why HE should give a fuck.

NerfManiac's point is that no one cares that you modded a 1500. He asked about a 5000. They are not the total same. In principle, they're similar.

Exact same chamber / trigger mech. In essence they are the same gun in different packages, and last time I checked, replying is to help the person who created the thread, not to flame needlessly, thanks.

Listen KSP... Just because to guns use a pump doesn't necessarily mean that they are the same gun in the a different casing. For instance, lets take the Powerclip. It has a pump, correct? But we all know that the Powerclip has a bladder that slowly releases the air into the piston...etc. If you actually looked at the fuckin insides of the SM 5000, you would notice that the air tank is at least twice the size of the 1500... n00bs these days...

Well for one I didn't compare it to the powerclip. I compared it to scaled down system, which works / operates / performs the same exact way. So if brass works on a 1500 it will work on a 5000. And try not to resort to calling people noob, it just degrades your argument. By the way, were you at nerfonline like 3 years ago?

Ok, finally decided to post something again so here it goes, if brass works on a 1500 well it may not work on the 5K. Well, lest see, I just used my 1500 brass pipe on my 5k and the 5k got like nill range. They donn't "work/operate/perform" the same. Calling you a noob isn't degrading his argument, but whatever, sink your own boat, frankly I don't give a damn.
Anyways back to the original question, if you perform the mod that Kevin wrote up you can easily get ranges in excess of 175 feet, heck one of my friends got 200 with a crayola barrel, don't know how it happened though. If you do get the 5k just realize that most people ban it on account of it hurts like a bitch if you get shot from any range less then 50 feet, but it may change according to your 5k, so hope it works out for you, remember to look around the site before posting a thread though, happy trails.
