Here's my Lonshot.



Features:

-Jam door removed, for even easier jam clearing.
-Red-cross optic scope
-PVC supported stock
-1st gen NF spring added, and stretched steadily to reduce wear and noise when fired.
-Useless switch indicator below accessory rail removed
-Bolt-lock removed
-Useless bipod removed



Here's the view of the bolt without the jam door.

Here's the question. Sometimes, The "prong", which interlocks with the chamber, jams up on the chamber itself, preventing a smooth closure on the breech. Should I bend it down steadily, or is there something I'm missing here?

You placed the dart tooth wrong. Reopen it.

Don't try to add two springs to reinforce the catch, it doesn't work well.

That happens to my friends longshot after i modded it. I thought it was just the paint but maybe not...

(on topic) Decent longshot. You got some extra power and comfort into it. Just make son CSTD's and youll be in buisness.

Not bad. Add a shotgun foregrip or just glue a piece of 2" PVC over the old bipod mount. It makes it far more comfortable to hold, since you don't have to grab the annoyingly thin portion of the shell. I got slight cramps from using my LS like that during an indoor war with a few friends. Then again, we were playing for about four hours straight before our lunch break.

I didn't. I added a spring to the plunger tube, not the catch.

From what I've read, a NF spring added to the LS plunger doesn't require catch reinforcement.

SHA: I was thinking of that, but it was late, and I didn't want to do some dremmeling to make a smooth, comfortable grip. It'll get done though.

No, but Big Bad Bow springs should. The NF spring doesn't give the Longshot its name. Buy a Big Bad Bow. buy Handyman 9371, or something like that, spring. Put Handyman spring in the BBB with a dremeled 1/2 PVC coupler. Put the BBB spring in the LongShot. Shoot and be amazed.
