[Team Slaya]

Hey there all ye MA folks. We seem to have some new meat here , and it's definitely time for another war down in Melrose. If people are still active, I'd like to know who'd be up for a war, lets say... sometime in October if it's possible? Maybe the last weekend or so? It'll be chilly, but eh, we can at least try to plan ahead, right?

Any interest?

Ok so Looking at my scedual the earliest date I can do this is the 6th of October. The second date is the 20th.

The one big advantage of haveing it on the 6th is that our favorite crazy little bastard will be able to make it most likely! Nick will be back from college that weekend so he will probably want to play in it!

We will be able to muster like 6 people from melrose for this game mostlikely. Sadly most of the 14 or so players we normaly can call are off at college so we have a skelloton crew so to say for this game.

Also I may or maynot be able to rope a few folks from college into this game.

Sick. So, with 6 from melrose, Thomas (assuming he comes alone), and myself with at least 4 others we have 10! Hurrah!

It's fine with the HQ - I didn't think about it because I don't really browse there anymore, but any other participants would be great.

Would you guys please clean out the swears because my mom is going to look at this topic. I'm a possibility if you do that and outlaw the singled Titan so my mom will let me play. Also what is the age range at this war going to be.

I myself was going to ask about outlawning the titan. I only see one thing that a parent would consider a swear, and if that kid doesn't get on just have your mom read the first one. I don't swear, but on occasion one might slip, so no worries I hope to pick up a couple guns this weekend, maybe a crossfire and a longshot, but they aren't mine. I might also get a Dart Tag Blaster, the one that shoots 10 but I don't know of mods for it

Ok foam, we'll try to cut the swears. I only see one on the page, and it's minor and not used in a demeaning way. Anyhoo, back on topic.

I don't think that any of us have singled titans. I have two singled Sm5k's, one of which can hit 100'+, the other's a bit weaker. If someone has an issue with a gun, we usually put it aside and don't use it. If someone's just being a wimp we smack them on the head and move on.

I'm 16, and I believe most of the melrose kids are 17/18+, but we're friendly. If you're only 13, which you have to be to be on the boards, that's fine. I know plenty of middle schoolers and I'm fine with em. I can guarantee that age won't be an issue unless you whine, which is unacceptable.

Oh, and Thomas if you're looking for results, don't go with a DTG. They're hard and expensive to mod, and once you're done you don't get the best results. You get decent results though; 10 ~50' shots ain't too bad. Up to you, but you'll need like 4' of CPVC and decent fitting darts to pull it off.

10 fifty foot shots? That's way better than any gun i have And it's not like i'm buying them, it's just a gun my friend has. I'm 14, and I don't care what age you guys are, I just want to nerf. It'll be akward though, because I won't know anyone, and I've got 3 guns, and I'll probably be wearing a cup just incase I get shot in the *out of respect for Foam* and I dont' want to have to deal with that. Unless it's unesscesary.

It won't be necessary, Thomas. I've never gotten shot in the nads, but I don't think it'd be too bad unless it was a really lucky shot or point blank. The protection that you should bring is a pair of sunglasses, because they serve the dual purpose of looking awesome and protecting your eyes from both the sun and angry stefans.

As for being awkward, we're very friendly people. There ain't much more I can say, but I guarantee that you'll have a good time if enough people come.

Ah, Fenix you failed to mention that the 6th is part of Columbus day weekend. Many folks won't be here. Wanna do the week after, the 13th? How does that work for people?

OMC, can you come then/at all? It'd be sweet if you and your NJ crew could show again, and maybe I can grab derek to peg you in the head again.

The 13 works much better for me, I go to maine on columbus day weekend. I got a few extra guns, and one more question; Is there a Walmart or a Target within walking distance or driving? I'm saving up money till the last minute and getting a few extra guns and what not

My dates are flexible, I can do whenever you guys want to, so count me in on any date. Also, my mom threw away my NF and my Crossfire, so I'm down to 2 guns which aren't good. At all. My Hidden Shot only gets 40 and my Magstrike is my only primary, so I don't know what's gonna happen. But tell me, what should I buy for the war, A Double Shot, a SSPB (gonna get anyway), a NF, or a mav to mod? I'm not quite sure what would do best in a war

Sorry for taking so long, I will be there with about 1-3 friends. I'm pretty sure I can get there. As for my arsenal I just moved so I left it at my other house x 10. which really sucks because I had a ton of stuff. Also where did you get the big blast I can't seem to find them at wallgreens.

I broke my finger and it might be healed by the 13th but it would be better on the 20th for me. What is the size of the field we will be on so I can plan on the guns to bring? If not the 13th or 20th for me it has to be on the weekend.

Fenix can't make the 13th, and it's looking like my folks won't let me go on the 13th either, so I'm changing the tentative date to the 20th.

It's chill, Vanpaun, at least you posted. Good to hear that you're gonna bring some folks. I dunno - maybe your walgreens doesn't carry them, but the one down the street from me had a bunch in stock.

Foam Shooter, it's a pretty big field, but I'd just say to bring as many guns as you can fit in a bag. It's always good to have more guns to arm the friends that nerfers bring along.

If I can't find one before the war could you possibly bring one? We could arrange details and such but as of now I have my eyes open for one. I would be willing to pay like $13 dollars for one, so thats like $3 to you if they are $10.

Yeah that sounds pretty good, but get it after we finalize the date so I can be sure I can go. My friends are probably going to come with me but the third one will be tough because he doesn't really want to come, However there is a chance someone else will come in his place. We should finalize a date when we will finalize the date like on the first of October the date will be set, that either that or do it sooner.
