I know their are some topics about these {I searched} but i didnt understand completely so some help would be greatly appreciated. First heres how i think the solenoid works.
Posted ImageThe batteries transfer electricity to the push button electric valve, when you push the buttton electricity gets transferred to the solenoid valve opening it. Am i right? Also what gauge wire is good for this?

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

Listen, you sound like you don't know what the fuck your doing. Don't try building a homemade unless you've had a successful experience with pvc or copper before.

In that case I recommend you mod your sprinkler valve for pneumatic actuation. Theres a tutorial on spudfiles.

Thanks i might maybe do that now since it lets more air through because it opens faster but some of the air hoses ive seen are like 20$ for like 25 feet im not willing to pay that much money for this little use.But thanks.

Buy a Hunter solenoid valve from Lowe's or Home Depot (I have only found them at Lowe's, but I understand that some Home Depots carry them). They are connected via threaded PVC adapters, so you can construct the entire gun out of pressure-rated PVC. The valves are only about $10-15, depending on the diameter of the pipe that needs to be connected to it. Placing this directly behind the barrel or breach will give you the best possible ranges, most rapid air delivery, etc.
