I need a replacement spring for my NF but I don't want to do any reinforcement to the gun. Can some one tell me what type of spring to get.

Thank you.

Try doubling a crossfire spring with your nitefinder spring.

Crap! I thought I had said in my post that I put my NF spring in my LS. That's why I need a new one for it.

Just get an Ace #49 spring, and put it in there. I've had my first NF working for about a year now, and even if something does break, buying a new NF and transferring the spring is cheaper than reinforcing it.

Do I need to reinforce the gun for this spring?

Yes.

For something that actually fits your criteria: try a TTG (the new one that has a plunger system like the NF's) spring. They can get great results.

A section of an AR-15 buffer spring would work without reinforcement. They can be bought here.

just get a spring from the hard ware store, it doesn't have to be the best one in the store but just a trmp. replacement.

Thanks guys but I found a spring. I used a DS spring. The DS spring is a little to small (Width wise) It kept slipping so the catch spring wouldn't work. So I cut out a piece of plastic to fit in the plunger. Then I cut a hole in that piece of plastic and slid it on to the plunger. Now the spring fits perfect, with out the slipping of the spring.
I get over 65' flat range with the stock barrel. I can't wait to put some PETG in to this and see how far it goes.

AT1K springs have amazing results when paired with the original spring.
We should stop calling out/making fun of/pissing GC off. He's actually contributed and is available for trade. He's a better than average member no doubt. Got your back Cole.

No, it's a springer.
