Overall, the field was excellent. The creek made the war so much more dynamic and interesting... especially for those of us who fell in lol. I'm going to try to hold one of these each year, maybe more, so anyone who wants can come. It was tons of fun.
Highlights:
-Shooting through a weeping willow tree and scoring a kill.
-Watching my brother fall backwards into the creek after being run down by a wildfire.
-Landing numerous hits while people were running, with modest wind, in the hand/gun.
-Just being accurate in general all day. I had never used my xbow in combat before, and it kicked.
-Watching someone turn into a NF shot from 20ish feet away and take it in the nose. Ouch.
-Twitch and myself being mortal enemies all day. His glittery pink at3k and my xbow were excellent matchups.
Great day for nerf, I can't wait to do it again. Battle Creek. Hell yeah.
