Anyway i'm in the middle of minimizing my double shot and i removed the ammo holders in the back. Problem is there was apparently an important piece there (pics below). When i tried to cock the gun normally, it just sorta plopped down.How can i make the cock normally without reataching the hugoungoues (please excuse my made up word) ammo holder back on.

You could do what I did.

Remove the pully system and scrap it. Take the string cut it in half. Then attach one half though each plunger, and tie off into loops. Run the cord out the back. Pull each string (or both at the same time) to cock each tube. Fire away.

Thank you for your help.I was thinking of doing that but i think i know the problem.Maybe if i hotglue the part on to the bottom back part of the gun,i can full cock the system without pulling the gun in half completely,but still keeping the sexy shotgun feel.

Ok i did what i wanted to do but it didn't turn out so great.I tried to do what you aid but now i don't know how the hell to put the gun back together.I don't even know how to run the half through the plunger.Can you or someone else explain this?

Unfortanatuly my Double Shot is at home and I am at school right now. If you can take a picture of your gun and all the parts I can show you what goes where using MS paint.

NH isn't like Most forums... Don't Bother Double Posting if someone doesn't respond within four hours, It won't help you, It just makes you look like an ass. Chances are Z-man will have a Pic for ya by tomorrow. Just Chilax.

I strongly recommended you try something to make it work on your own for now...Rather than waiting while freaking out.

OH NO! An old DS. Those are the best kind. I do believe you need to put the middle pulley back in. It acts as a catch guide.

What do you mean "old" DS? I have yet to find one that looks any different.

SK: In your fifth picture, to the far left, there is a small spring loaded onto a see-saw like lever. Take the spring and lever off, as they only create resistance while you are cocking the plungers/opening the gun.

I think there's something about the old DS innards that make it better than the new one. I'm not sure exactly WHAT is different though.

Well, there's the difference right there, and I agree about the fugly paint scheme. It would look way better if it had AT LEAST a bit of black or camo on it.

PS. Kirby, it looks like you've pretty much killed it, if not, it'll be a bitch to get back together.

Sweet.I put it back together.But is it just me,or is it hard as hell to cock now?I think this can change if i can cock the barrels one by one.How can i do this?You said to run it through each of the plungers,but that would mean having to take out the rotating wheels on the side.Is this what shou;d be done?

It is possible to push the wheels back enough to get the string in the plunger ahead of the wheels. This is how I did it.
