[Nerf Nerd]

I think i might just be getting annoying now. I have made 3 Barrel replacements in 4days.

First was my Airtech 2000 Single Barrel "Recorder" replacement.

And the newest of all is my Blast Bazooka placement switcharoo. I was following the modding instructions of Cartoon so i cut off my Blast Bazooka's barrel. And hot glued the pump shut like in Cartoon's Now i wasn't really thinking so I tried putting one of my recorders as the barrel just tell i get some brass or something. It sucks so i gotta get some brass. But the main picture is on the Airtech 2000. So i got this sawed of barrel just waiting to be used. So i took of the recorder barrel of my Airtech (No biggie i can jam it right back on on) and Hot glue that sucker on to my Airtech.

Oh, now i had a bit of trouble though. I wasn't thinking and i super glued my recorder to the Airtech but it didn't dry quick enough so it dribbled down the gun and super glued some insides of my gun together so in my video you can see i sawed off a huge chunk of the top of my gun so i cut the the plastic pieces inside stuck together.

The last part of my mod is i made two new darts. Probably not as good as Stefan's cause I've never tried with them but i think mine are just as good.

First Bullet - My Prototype - Simply a dart with some e tape at the top.

Second Bullet - A Regular ripped up dart. The cylinder foam of a dart just without tis Velcro top or suction cup top on it. Instead i evenly hot glued the top of the dart so it melts the foam down equally and hardens. The only down side is about after 4 shots of this the hot glue starts ripping threw the foam. My darts keep ripping a part because of how hard they keep hitting the walls.

Don't call them bullets. They're darts. For making better ones, try superglueing a 1/4 slingshot weight or a 3/0 splitshot fishing weight (with the gap closed) into the tip of the foam dart body, and then making the hot glue tip. There is also a guide in the General Nerf forum devoted to dartsmithing tips, and it will be stickied near or at the top of the topic list.

My Bad for calling them bullets ill edit my post in a minute. And I'm not trying to make the best bullet ever. I'm just making a really simple really quick really effective "dart". Ad hot glue drys in a few seconds while super glue doesn't dry for a while unless your bonding it to something.

I agree with DarkInfection, seriously how many pumps are you doing to get those ranges... thats a really good way to crack your air tank. I honestly don't think that the whole recorder barrel was a good idea, it just seems like a waste to me. Instead of destroying an instrument why not go out and buy some PVC pipe for a few cents a foot.

You are. You're bonding the fishing or slingshot weights into the hole in the front of the stock foam rod. Then you're covering it with hot glue, or with a washer and felt head like CS does. Either tip will work better than plain hot glue, and be more durable.

Also, the increased mass allows for a higher terminal velocity, which when compared to stock darts, allows for greater range.

Ok yall are freaking out over my pumps. Its pump it like 8-10 times but they're half pumps since my barrel is in the way my hand hits the barrel trying to pump so i do a half pump. So its getting the equivalent of bout 4-5 pumps so stop spazzin.

A few things here:
You're barrel isn't that long, but you won't be able to maximize your ranges & power if you don't shove the dart all the way to the back of the barrel. I can see that your darts are unable to penetrate a layer of cardboard. This indicates that your AT2K is not being used to its full potential
You have access to hot glue and a hot glue gun, so why are you wrapping the tips of your darts in e-tape? Doing so will increase the darts diameter, making it impossible to place your dart in the back of the barrel therefore limiting the gun's power.
You say that you are using "half pumps", but in fact I can see that they are 80% to full pumps. Its not safe to do so for your tank or your check valve.
A "half pump" is not equivalent in pressure to exactly half the pressure of a full pump.
If you are going to use improper English such as "yall", please treat it like a proper contraction. Therefore making the word spelled with an apostrophe as in "y'all" In your instance something is equivalent to, rather than equivalent of. Also you forgot to place an "a" in the beginning of the word "about" and a "g" at the end of the word (which is not an official English word) "spazzing". Additionally, don't forget to capitalize your "I"s when referring to yourself.

Remember that there is a difference between spoken English and written/"proper" English. Stay in school, it keeps the stupid from infecting you!

oh and i get enough crap from my teaches about "imporper english" i dont need anymore from "yall"

? idk i joined Nerf haven like a month ago and made this profile. yall are missing the point of this forum. its to discuss and explain mods, yall are getting caught up in how i pump my own gun and how i spell "yall".

Why would you ban me anyway? You saying twelve year olds cant mod they're own guns. I have to be 16 and have an ID to fucking mod a gun?

The ones in charge have put the limit of being 13 years old to post in the forum, because the find anbody under that age to be too imature. You can certainly mod a gun, being twelve, but you just can't post because it starts things like this.

With a name like "Nerf Nerd", I didn't think this kid was overly serious. Or, a PB or AS troll.

To use a middle-school musical instrument, gave it away. I mean, how many of us older folks use a recorder or a Tonette? My kids are using those, and they'd rather use PETG for their blasters.

This kid obviously has a problem with authority. Don't do that to the men in blue when you grow up, they have Tasers. And expandable batons.
