When i went to Home Depot today to look for a decent pump and some parts for a new homemade gun their wasnt a single good pump. I browsed all over the Wal-Mart and Target site but couldt find one. I was wondering if you guys knew where some decent pumps were.

Try Dick's Sporting Goods, Cabella's, Bass Pro Shops, basically any sporting goods store. You want either a small bike pump for a rifle-sized gun, or a handheld mini-pump for a compact weapon. If possible, get a dual-action pump so it fills the tank on both the down and upstrokes.

The Blackburn Airstik is dual action and is about the size of a Sm5k pump. Ryan389213 whatever used it on his SM5k.

Wow. I've never seen a product of any kind get overall worse reviews that that pump does.

Thanks guys i went to Dicks and got a good pump. All i have to do now is glue the whole gun together and it will be done. Ill post a new topic when i finish it. And also are their any good spray paints to use on PVC, like Krylon Fusion or something?

Krylon Fusion works well, but vinyl dyes are strongly recommended by users like CS. They are absorbed by the plastic so it is almost impossible for it to be removed by extended use.

Vinyl dye is excellent, but it only works on unpainted surfaces.
