Today I will be teaching you how to coupler a Maxshot.

Unscrew these screws

Pry the gun open a little bit and pull this orange piece that holds the missle on.

Screw on your 1/2 inch cpvc coupler. ( Can be purchased for .19 cents at home depot. You can hotglue it there if you want. But mine is very tight because I had just removed E-tape from the end of the barrel.

Attatch barrel of choice. Preferably 1/2 inch petg.

This isn't really in-depth for a write-up, and you don't give barrel lengths or ranges. You should also cut off the stock white barrel like my mod.

Well it doesnt need to be in-depth its a quick,simple and effective mod

Ranges are about 70-80

And the barrel is 5 inches

Tofu - I'm not sure but I think this is different than Cxwq's mod on the Mod page sticky but I'm I suspect that you (like me) assumed everyone knew/did this anyway. Except (like SHA said) we all cut the barrel down (leaving 5 inches of barrel on is silly - it wastes so much power).

This is pretty good, although it's not new. But SHA and ambushbug are right, leaving the stock barrel on is a waste of air.

Off-topic:

Why do Maxshots get Crossbow ranges? The plunger chamber looks so small. Is this an optical illusion, or is it something else?

The plunger tube is actually very wide, between about 1" and 1 1/4", and it has a very heavy gauge spring with a silicone band instead of an O-ring. That lets it deliver a huge amount of air faster than a Crossbow. It's kind of like comparing the EaB Plunger tube, which is shorter but wider, to the Crossbow plunger tube, which is longer but thinner.
