Edit:

Though I've never seen an iRiver for $40... I'm pretty sure they're over $100.

Don't buy it chances are your gonna buy it and than its going to blowup(break) and your going to have wasted that 40 dollars when you could have bought 4 Nightfinders or....well 4 night finders says enough. But I dont think you should but it. save your money because U should never buy anything at gas stations (except for gas that is), Though I rivers are quite attractive and are very good!

What does buying 4 Nitefinders with $40 have to do with buying an MP3 Player? Note this is on an Off Topic Forums.
Trace,
If your currently looking to find a new Mp3, go for iriver for a flash player. But if your looking for a hard-Drive based one, go for the Ipod or Zune. the player you saw at the Gas station, its probably one of those Made in China players. If it looks good and it gots a good brand name, buy it if thats what you want for $40.
(Sighs) What Mp3 Player doesnt look like an Ipod. There are millions of players that have that 4-way round directional button and a screen.

pros- VoIP, podcast downloading software, cuteness factor.
Cons- no sd slot, 160x128 screen, 2GB max
I think this is a good player for me because I would mostly use it for podcasts and movies. I wouldn't think a 160x128 movie would take too much memory and I'm used to small screens.
EDIT: N-Strike PMed me about the MoblBLU site and I forgot to give him credit. My deepest apologies. The site is http://www.mobibluamerica.com.

Yeah I'm sure it's a piece of shit. I did look at the x20 and really wanted to get it until I saw the mobiBLU BOXON.

Made in China? Look around, just about everything you own now, including electronics, are made in China. It's a scary thought. Look at all your stuff. Including, I think, Nerf blasters.
Better to go to Best Buy, Circuit City, or even Wal*Mart.
EDIT; Sheet, people. Look at where your Longshots are made. NI HAO!!

Generally, buying electronics from a gas station convenience store = not too good an idea. Especially if it's a brand name you've never heard of before.

Hell if thats scary, I heard that soon that cars will be made in china. Domestic and Imports. They should name all the Dollor Stores to Made in China store. Well Piney, even the Nice products of BestBuy and CCity say Made in China. My Iriver Clix says Assembled in China even though the parts are from Korea.

Anyway, I suppose it's happening in the USA as well, but Mattel toys is recalling half a million plus toys made in china, due to small parts falling off and high readings of lead paint.

As far as Iriver's go, I HATE them. My mom has one and I despise the Windows Media Player-based interface. It's very hard to work with.
1. Go to the search button in the right corner of the screen
2. Click
3. Search double longshot clip.

I recommend Creative music players a lot. I had a Zen Micro, and now have a Zen Vision:M. They are both great players.

Well your mom's player had to be one of the older models right? 'Cause I know that some of those T-800 HD crap things suck from before, or so I heard. Though Iriver took it up a notch in the last 3 years with the U10 and clix. Cheack out their players now shadow. You wont be dissapointed
