My school's gaming club is going to order a bunch of guns, but I'm not sure if the taggers we're counting on for refills will jam in Mavericks. How well do they fit?

They're a bit big, but if you cut about 1/4 inch off the back end of the darts they work.

They do seem to be just a little long. You can make them work stock. Some people seem to be more blessed then I because they sware it works with out any modifications. But if you just remove a little bit of the dart they work with out a flaw, even for me.
I mod nerf guns so they look good. So leave my scopes, doodads, and trinkets alone I like them. I don't mind the weight and I started out that way on toy guns and its not going to change.

Can you modify the guns? I'll look and see if they can be clearanced

They fit fine. Especially if you remove the pegs and restrictors from the maverick turret.

Even in a modded Maverick, they did not work for me. Though, if it makes a difference, this was with the older blue and yellow Maverick.

My taggers worked fine in both the old and new versions of the Maverick. It depends on how carefully you load them. If you just shove them in, then you will have problems with them jamming on rotation, but if you make sure to press them into the barrels carefully, then they feed without any hitches. (This doesn't mean that you have to take an ungodly amount of time to reload, I did it while taking cover from several RF20 bursts, you just have to make sure you did it right the first time.)

Im pretty sure that cutting off less than 1/4 inch wont matter. Even 1/8 works. People probably wouldnt even notice if you cut well.We can't modify the darts; does this mean that they won't fit?

These are guns and darts that we'd be lending/selling at wars for people who didn't have them. For liability reasons, we absolutely cannot modify either of them. The darts, in particular, we'd hand out in the original packaging.

They work fine in all of my guns, except the firefly. I just make sure to depress the dome on top completely(sp). I'd buy them.
