You can't buy it in stores, but you can buy it from me. (Cxwq made me the main supplier). Its only $1.25/foot, with a minimum order of 8'(its changed). PM me if you're interested.

You should be able to find petg tubing at a local plastics supply house. I haven't tried this yet but it seems like something they would carry. Anyway I'm a newbie at nerf modding but I've been modifying toys for a long time and thought I'd give nerf weapons a try. I'll try to not ask too many stupid newbie questions so if I do try to be nice.

The problem with PETG isn't finding a supplier, it's finding a supplier that has the size you want and a minimum order under a thousand feet.

PETG is only really used for retail packaging so the sizes are pretty arbitrary. It took me 6 months to hunt down the stuff IronRhino is selling. I had to talk to four manufacturers and send for three sample pieces before I was satisfied that I had an acceptable barrel material for micro stefans. The $200+ minimum order was just the icing on that particular shit cake.

But it was worth it to be able to entertain the notion of a barrel modded RF20...

PETG is used mostly for packaging, plastic bottles and whatnot. You can also get it in sheets so you can use it in vacuforming. I just called my local plastics house and indeed they didn't carry PETG tube, they did give me a place to call so I'll see if that pans out. Anyway I'm building a small (11" square) vacuform table for work, any ideas on how it can be used to further my Nerf interests?
