I had this over at NHQ and decided I should add it here as well as fix it up a bit. So here it is.

First off, let's take a look at what we're modding:

Posted Image

Ignoring the cheesy box, let's open it up. Make sure to pry off that green nub near the base of the pump to open it up all the way.

Posted Image

Moving to the bottom left, you'll notice the bladder surrounded by a case that is in 2 peices.

Posted Image

Unscrew it and take it off.

Posted Image

I recommend tightening the screws at the end of the tube to make it all tighter.

Moving towards the end of the bladder, sand down that green nub, disabling the overpressure button.

Posted Image

And now some hot glue on it...

Posted Image

...and now you can shoot off both clips in only 35 pumps. Now we're done with that part. Move up to the top right, and you'll see this little black and white piece.

Posted Image

Take it out.

Posted Image

Plug that teensy hole on top with glue.

Posted Image

Now put it back in place.

And If you need more detail on it, look at how Forsaken angel did it. I also recommend breaking the pegs off in the clips like how he did.

If you want to do the hair trigger mod (makes trigger more sensitive) glue a small piece of wood to the trigger like this picture. This and the following step are covered very well in Nermonkey's Safety and Hair Trigger mod.

Posted Image

Now for the optional part: the safety. This prevents you from shooting the gun without the clip in it. I didn't take any pics before I did it, apologies. Basically, it's just a green plate close to the trigger. Unscrew it and take the things you find under it (They're green). A few people say that you need to screw the green plate back in. I didn't, and it works fine. Here is a pic of the stuff you'll find under it (and the plate, which is at the right):

Posted Image

...and now to close it up. I don't know why this picture ended up being so small so let me explain it. Towards the top left (assuming if you pulled the trigger it would shoot the right) the barrel is held in place with 2 white rings protruding out. Make sure the red ring part goes inbetween these two parts.

This is a very intimidating mod, especially now that I sanded off that green nub. This allows you to fire off both clips one after the other in only 35 pumps! Not to mention It's actually somewhat painful (even with tagger darts!) within a couple feet.

I'll get some ranges soon, right now it's raining but I live in Chicago so it'll be dry within a couple minutes. This gun is fairly accurate for an automatic, 20 darts hitting one average-sized pillow from 20 feet away isn't too bad. Not to mention how clean it is, there's virtually no visual changes (except the range).

Also I'll get a vid up soon.

EDIT: I got ranges. Most in the 35'-40' foot flat range with stock taggers.

After 40 pumps mine starts to leak a small amount. But usually I pump it up to 37 (sometimes I shoot more than 10 times for a clip on accident) Basically if it leaks before 30 pumps then it's defective (assuming you sand down the green OP button, otherwise it will leak [as planned] at about 25 pumps)

Finally a post that is useful.

Descent mod, but NEVER pump the gun over 45 times or else you get this face :P

You do need the white piece tow surround the bladder.

If you take the overpressure valve apart you can glue the green peg in place backwards (reinsert is from the inside) and glue it that way. Then you should be able to pump the bladder up atleast 45 times with no leaks.
All of this has been done before.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

CS I never said it was original. It's just an alternate take of Forsaken's mod without the excessive dremeling. And I checked it, after 43 FULL pumps it doesn't leak anymore. Whatever it was fixed itself.

And really I don't need the white piece around the bladder. Like I said I fixed up my post from a month ago on NHQ. Nothing has failed yet, and it gets off two clips at a decent (you guys really need to learn how to spell that, there's no S) range, so really I think this mod is ideal for anyone who doesn't have a dremel/aren't comfortable using it.

I would be wary of taking off the white piece that surrounds the bladder without smoothing the shell. If you just leave things as they are, the bladder will press against all the posts and things inside the gun

"I don't know," Alice answered.
"Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

Yes, we saw that you said it hasn't failed...yet.

Everyone's point about the white shroud is that it'll prevent pressure (and resulting wear) from the shell walls against your now greatly expanded bladder. The bladder hasn't failed yet, but that doesn't mean you should ignore potential wear points, especially if you want to increase the Magstrike's usable life.

I think this would be good for beggining modders to do. It's pretty much an easier version of Angels mod, the only drawback is the reduced ranges and amount of clips, although 35 pumps is pretty good for 2 clips. It's also nice because you can always go back and upgrade the mod to the more full version because nothing is permanent, and i'm pretty sure not everyone will want to go allout on modding the magstrike when they first open it anyways. My Magstrike fires 70 feet and fires off 4 clips but let me tell you geting that plug to stay in was a pain in the ass, and I have to pump 90 times for 4 clips so all in all this is pretty nice. Good job.

It's a bad mod for beginners to do because by taking out the white bladder shroud without dremeling the shell adds little space and much more irregularities to weaken the bladder. And if there's a problem, a beginning modder won't be able to fix it. If all you want to do is fire two clips, you don't have to remove the white shroud, you just have to cut off the green opr valve and band the piston (if you want, that wasn't even mentioned in this writeup, and it's an easy mod to do with good results.)

If I remember FA24's writeup correctly, banding the piston actually decreases the amount of darts that you can fire. The piston is used to regulate the amount of air that is fired, and banding it causes more air to build up before firing.

that's true, but you can still get two clips off with a banded piston.

My Magstrike fires 70 feet and fires off 4 clips

No offense, but I seriously doubt that. Unless you added PETG to clips, redid the bladder, and pretty much upgraded the entire thing, that's crazy. And I was surprised mine got 45ish feet, I, perhaps along with other people, don't have a sense of distance in a large scale.

Or was yours angled? I think I said flat, right?

And I think that this would classify as a beginner's mod, considering there's no large amount of cutting/dremeling/not much can go wrong.
