I was eventually going to replace the spring on my yellow NF (in addition to the earlier mods I've done with it) but I was curious: how much better is the old (blue) NF spring compared to the yellow NF spring? I haven't seen any comparison of ranges/size of spring, but maybe that's because I'm not going far enough back in topics.

They're pretty much the same size but you'd be surprised at the difference in how difficult it is to compress an old style NF spring compared to a new one. If you're going to add bungees or bands to the gun it won't make much of a difference anyway but if you don't plan on doing that I recommend the old style spring; it'll make a huge difference.
