Just picked up a set at a Canadian TRU for $44.99 only to find it at Zellers for $34.99 the next day.

So buy both! I've already got 2 sets...probably will get a 3rd soon, provided my stupid TRU restocks again.

Not available here yet. Probably won't hit store shelves until Tuesday.
I might get lazy and order it from Wal-mart.com just to see if it will get here before then.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

I picked up a set today and already got started on a Longshot integration. The barrels of the spidey tagger nested quite well over the stock longshot barrell. The pump will come out the front and the trigger will mount in the area where the tripod used to be. I'm hoping to not have to do any tube work with it, as it's layed out quite well, but we'll see.

I cut the hoses off and hot glued in some temporary tubes to make sure it worked, no problems with it. I tried to integrate two of them into a Mav shell, but there just isn't room for all the tubing. It's a shame because the Mav drum matches the barrel pattern exactly. I don't really have a good candidate to integrate them into, I could really use an LBB.

You might try extending the tubes, and running them outside the shell through holes to accomodate the lack of internal space in the Mav shell. Then, after a paintjob, it'd basically look like some alien gun with tubes full of goo-like shit all over the place.

I thought about that, but I found an LBB at my local Walgreens and I'm gonna use that instead. Luckily I didn't destroy the Mav, so I can use it for something else.

Would it be practical to take one of these, integrate it into a Longshot, and then rig up a trigger system that runs to a point near the standard trigger? If you take off the fruity "must hold trigger like Spidey to shoot" orange trigger-tab, and then glue a section of coat hangar or music wire to the actual pressure-sensitive button and then to a pull-ring or a Lexan trigger, then it might work. You could even use Lexan to form a box where the bipod used to be to contain it.

Buy the set from Zeller's, and if you don't want to keep it, return it to TRU with the TRU receipt. Everyone wins (except TRU, stupid money-crazed corporations).

The trigger being rigged up by the main trigger is a possibility, i'll have to give that a try because i'm having a hard time figuring out how to rig up a trigger on the front for it. Don't know about making a box on front.

If you integrated one into a mav, would you still use the barrel rotation? If not, I think thatt could work very well.

You can't really use a pull ring or coat hanger for a trigger because the valve on the tank gets pressed inward not pulled out like in the airtech tanks.

You could if you use a pulley, though.

Why not just relocate the "Detonator" along the side of the handle of your gun... so that you can press it with your thumb and still use the trigger of the other gun? that's what I'll be doing when I get some more tubing connectors.

That's one way to do it. I'm going to try a simply string-pull type trigger today, we'll see if it works.

The valve is also facing the same direction as the barrels. This would mean that a conventional trigger system that had an extended portion placed in front of the valve could be used as a pressure-sensitive trip. Think the trigger of a Big Blast with the tab for the firing pin place in front of the valve to push it down instead of behind to pull it out.

I found some nifty plastic barb connectors today. They fit the Nerf tubing perfectly, and come in T's and butt connectors. They are called Rain-Drip, and are available at hardware stores and gardening places.

You could make some money selling the, as for some they would replace compression fittings, which I personally find annoying.

Hey Angel was Zellers having some sorta sale or is TRU just screwing us Canadians? I stopped buying Nerf stuff at Zellers when I saw there Fireflys were 36.99, but I may have to start buying there agian if there stuff is $10.00 cheaper.
