I managed to fit a crayola (It's actually roseart.A LOT less telescope effect and i sanded the edges to let more air in) on my night finder for a barrel replacement. The thing is,i didn't put any pvc around it or anything. The roseart barrel is set and arranged for as much airflow as possible. The darts fit in near-to-perfect.Sorry for asking such a newb question, but i've only heard of using roseart/crayola barrels with pvc.So is it okay if i only used the roseart barrel on my nite finder?Oh and i can't test if it is okay myself because i am still trying to cut a spring to put in the NF.

Yes it's ok. the pvc is merely for looks and some protection to the crayola barrel. Good luck with your mod!

Actually if you're shooting non-streamline stock micros it's not just for looks. It helps hold the tip of the dart and acts kind of like a telescoping barrel.
