If you were to mod a co2 paintball gun to shoot many stefans, could it be legal in a war?

No. The pressure to do this would be way too high, and even if you adjusted it to a bare minimum it would be a waste of a charged CO2 tank and a paintball gun.

Ya, can't those paintball guns get up to cost like $200?

My suggestion would be to tune down a CO2 or a Compressed Air tank to shoot a dart as far as a regular dart would out of a similar gun when it was well modded. You could get by with that I think. I have considered doing this with a longshot or magstrike.

THAT is the what that you should do it, if you are going to try it. Shadow's Idea wuld work to if you were really set on this.

I did this a little while ago, i used an old brasseagle pump. walmart had the gun for about $20. I used the breech from the homade section and a brass barrel. It's to powerful to use in a war though.

Plus, I seem to recall that CO_2 does bad things to guns because of the low temperature.

As has been said many many times. CO2 is a phase change medium and produces very low temperatures that create significant wear on plastics exposed to them.

I broke my clippers trying to cut the spring. So I couldn't break the spring with my bare hands so I used a hammer to pound the clipper handle and one of the clippers broke off.

Well like Angrscottishkid said, i have one of the brass eagle paintball guns...got it for christmas one year. I tried shooting a mega stefan i modifys to fit it, and it shot well over 200 feet. My thinking was, if i could get that power lowered by making it fire several bullets at around 50 feet ( like a shotgun) would it be legal?

Easiest way to answer this is as follows.

If it didn't shoot a foam projectile before it was modded, it isn't legal.

Thank you very much. Now, can i use the internals of it and mount it in another gun? Or is co2 completely illegal in wars?

The pressure is too high, as I said before. Also, you don't even want to try messing with a paintball gun's internals. Too expensive, too difficult, and pointless.

There is (or was) a pain.tball gun being sold on eBay, that apparently shoots Stefans for 100 feet. It makes sense, pain.tballs are wider then darts, and they don't have a weighted tip for extra momentum, so a PB gun would need more air delivery.
