So, I learned today that I need a video camera badly before I attempt this sort of adventure again. Sorry in advance about the quality.

Anyways, here goes. You need:

1. Posted Image
Two Mavericks

2. Posted Image
Two Lanyards

3. Posted Image
Some String or Elastic or Another Lanyard

Procedure:

Posted Image

Clip the Lanyards to the cocking handles

Posted Image

Tie the lanyards together.

Now, I have big giant gorilla length arms, so I look mildly retarded doing this, but for anyone of smaller (or younger) build, these lanyards should work fine. You don't have to pull them both at once, it just looks cooler that way. Well, as cool as two nerf guns strapped to a white nerd with lanyards can look, anyways.

Enjoy B)

Hahaha that's cool and funny at the same time.

You can really dish some darts out but it's probably not nearly as useful in a battle.

Hehe... That's great man. I personally have a soft spot for Mavverics, being my first gun and mod, so seeing some new threads involving the Mav just makes me happy. Sorta...

Lol. I'm sorry, but this was pretty much the first thing I did with my Mavericks after I bought them. I thought this would be common sense to people. What else would you use that hole for?

My method is a little different, where I take a string, make a loop out of it, but make the loop about 2-3 inches shorter than the length of my hand to shoulder. That way I can cock each gun individually with each arm and cock just by extending an arm. Also, when I need to drop my emptied guns, I can, and they just hang on my shoulder.

edit.

K, so I watched your video and you did something similar. But I still made the string longer. It makes handling the gun a lot easier with much more room to aim, instead of shooting from your nipples >.>

That is pretty spectacular.

I do like Yazzeh's idea with a string to each arm instead of connecting them, but it is nonetheless pretty awesome.

I achieved a similar idea by just connecting two of them together at the slides, so you can just alternate pushing one forward, then the other, and firing one after the other.

I agree too.

I have 2 broken mavs, so once i get around to fixing them with Z-man12's maverick tube repair, I'll have to try this.

Have you tried just connecting the Mav's together and pulling them apart with your arms when reloading? This bypasses the entire connect-the-mav-to-your-body deal and probably makes acrobatics and aiming much easier.

Haha, my friend's gonna love this.
We were talking about this idea when we got our first Maverick, and after a few mins debating, we decided to scrap the idea because it would be too silly to reload, but it's nice to know someone did it, and it doesn't look too silly to see it actually done ^_^

That's actually the worst way to do it. You have to cock both at the same time, or just hope one cocks more easily than the other, and also you'd have to make the string short enough that you don't have to eagle-spread to cock them, and finally, with your guns tied together, movement and independant aiming is near impossible.

I finished up one of the mavs. Kind of crappy though...

...and ghetto.

As soon as I finish the other one, I'll post some pics.

Ever tried just cocking them off each other? No other equipment needed... just the two mavericks.

Try it before you say anything. It's easier than you'd first think, especially with practice.

...in case you still don't know what I'm talking about, I mean pushing the tops of the two sliders against each other. As I said, you may have to practice to get it right every time, but it works great and no lanyards are needed.

Lanyards or rope around the back or shoulder let you to recock the Maverick(s) without having to significantly adjust your aim.

Cool idea! It would be very effective in a war if the mav. wasn't so darn weak!

I know that you shouldn't post on threads more than a month inactive, but I am pretty new, but the first thing I did with my Mav's was to use my pocket to catch the slide and cock it that way so that i could dual wield. You have to be wearing a shirt that isn't too long though so that it doesn't impede the slides catching your front pocket.

Work simultaneously got interesting and I started school, so artificial stimulation to keep my brain from burrowing out of my head on a daily basis was no longer needed. Once work cools off or school is out, I may be back. We'll see.

I was at Halloween USA today, and i saw something you might be interested it.i remembered you were working on a belt fed nerf gun, when I saw the same links from your post but made of plastic. I bought some and it fits streamlines perfectly. their about $4 and most halloween and costume shops I've seen sell them.
