I believe Cole said something about Forsaken "getting with" Slug and making something. Sadly, I doubt we'll see a meeting of the minds at Apoc since Captian Slug is MIA in China...

I was looking forward to meeting him.
Some other time I guess.

Why don't you show them how YOURS worked. The RF 100, the robot, the whole deal.Work with slug on the chains.
Late in saying this, but great mod, FA_24. I'm not surprised that you would be the one, able to pull it off. Or be big / strong enough to whip it around some. Pretty zany on the whole demonic video design thing, nice "smoke" effects and all.
And I guess if someone is actually going to make a chain-modded RF20 that works, it would be you or Sluggy. Or you and Sluggy.

Ha, the materials required for this are a lot more than 50-60 bucks. His 48ci/3000psi HPA tank is that alone, then the regulator is about the same price. That's over $100 not including the RF20s or all the hookups.omfg...i have to try this... but if i fail then its like 50-60 bucks gone forever... so is that a co2 tank? if so i could just attach a small 9oz tank to my gun... that way its not too majorly heavy like a 20 oz co2 tank...
I broke my clippers trying to cut the spring. So I couldn't break the spring with my bare hands so I used a hammer to pound the clipper handle and one of the clippers broke off.

I'm guessing that you can unload that thing about 25 times (1000 shots/ 40 darts) before the tank empties. So how do you plan on refilling the HPA tank? Do you plan on taking it to a paintball store? I guess if you use this strictly for assassin games then you wouldn't have a problem though.

Odds are he probably wouldn't fire all 40 shots at once in a war. If he could be conservative with the shots, one tank could last a whole war.

I will be bringing it to Hell with me.
And G-d say
1. I won't be in Hell.
2. If I am there, I hope I have a huge shield.

O_O
I mean, I SAID NOTHING!!!
The only way to beat that thing would be 2 Mantas (Preferably reinforced with something...) and hope that you don't freeze up when you see those lights/hail of darts coming your way.

I believe he said he spent over $250 on the whole project.
He never said how much he spent, he said he spends $250 every year on halloween parties.
I would think though that he spent somewhere around $100 with the majority of that being the compressed air tank and the regulator.
Hey by the way Forsaken angel, my RF20 doesn't work because of a leak with the pump, but I am interested in building what you have done and the conversion over to compressed air will bring this gun back to life!
"I just saved alot of money on gieco"
but for me,
"I just saved alot of money thanks to Forsaken angel " (and plus I have all the regulators and compressed air tanks so this probably will cost me at max like $50 since I have the majority of everything)

like i said the regulator and the energy tank take up the majority of the price tag, luckily I have that and quite alot of other stuff so I won't be spending so much luckily lol.
Yeah with that price of $400 i now understand why you put on the title of the thread, "What have I done?" haha

Maybe the airtank/pump from a Titan would work a bit better, pump with the left while shooting with the right... (Of course, you'd need a way to strap the assemblege to yourself...)
Regardless, I can safely see why this gun won't be seeing m/any nerf wars... Hey, about how durable is that thing, anyway?
