Hi,
I plan on modding my Nite Finder with a barrel replacement, but still be able to fire stock rounds. I don't plan on using brass or PETG, or ONLY taking out AR. I don't plan on doing a spring replacement either.
If there is already a post telling you how to do this, forgive me if I hadn't take some time and search for more details(actually I did, but only browsed for the first 4 pages, sorry).
So the goal is to do a barrel replacement(no brass or PETG), increase the range but still be able to fire stock rounds.
Would the modification increase the noise of the NF?

Thank you in advance.
Occassionally I do business here in NH, so if you would please be very kind, leave me a review after you do business with me...

Always adding more air from the plunger will make it louder.
Check the Mod. Directory, I say do PETG or 1/2 CPVC Sched. 40.

Cut a small (about the length of the stock barrel) length of CPVC and use that as a barrel replacement. Then take out the post and AR's, and add another O-ring. Or take the O-ring off, wrap the plunger head in E-tape, then replace the O-ring. Don't expect too much from it though, as a spring replacement and a longer, better barrel are the most beneficial mods you can do, range-wise. You can add bands or a small bungee to make up for the weaker spring.

I posted a ridiculously detailed NF mod thread over at NHQ that should answer most of your questions. Not safe for 56k.

Wow nice write-up, thanks. That will turn an ordinary Nite Finder to an EXTRAORDINARY POWERFUL sidearm.
That write-up is the most perfect write-up for noobs like me...

Forgive me for being really really noob, but what exactly is a dremel?

A Dremel is a rotary tool that allows the user to cut and grind something with simplicity and precision. Basically its a hand-held device that spins so you can cut plastic and other stuff.

Here is a link to their website. Apparently they invented the rotary tool over 70 years ago!

Crayola barrel should also work for this application.
