Nite Finder Question

I plan on modding my Nite Finder with a barrel replacement, but still be able to fire stock rounds. I don't plan on using brass or PETG, or ONLY taking out AR. I don't plan on doing a spring replacement either.
If there is already a post telling you how to do this, forgive me if I hadn't take some time and search for more details(actually I did, but only browsed for the first 4 pages, sorry).
So the goal is to do a barrel replacement(no brass or PETG), increase the range but still be able to fire stock rounds.
Would the modification increase the noise of the NF?
Thank you in advance.

Check the Mod. Directory, I say do PETG or 1/2 CPVC Sched. 40.

I posted a ridiculously detailed NF mod thread over at NHQ that should answer most of your questions. Not safe for 56k.

Wow nice write-up, thanks. That will turn an ordinary Nite Finder to an EXTRAORDINARY POWERFUL sidearm.
That write-up is the most perfect write-up for noobs like me...
Forgive me for being really really noob, but what exactly is a dremel?

Here is a link to their website. Apparently they invented the rotary tool over 70 years ago!
