Alright, if you're going to be hunting zombies, I believe that you should put rate of fire as a higher priority than range. You probably won't want to have to reload your NF constantly as a hoard of zombies are closing in on you. Mavericks, longshots, and magstrikes would probably work best, as they are easy to find at your local Kmart, Wal-Mart, Target, or where ever you shop at.

I suggest hunting down a Blastfire or hornet. The two big problems with magstrikes are that all your ammo will go to one or two people max, and then you have a long reload time, even with clips. The BF and Hornet are semi-automatic, so you don't end up wasting alll your ammo in two seconds. But thats just my 2 cents

If you Nerf in western washington, PM me

So you see a penguin walking down the street. Looks harmless right, so you keep on walking past him. You turn around to seem him walk away, only to find yourself staring down the barrel of a .38 revolver.

I think the longshot would be very cool in this role-play environment. Ranges of 100+ feet can only be accomplished with blood, sweat, and tears. It is not a path for the faint-hearted.

I cannot agree more Frost, 100+ does not come without blood, sweat and tears. But if it does work then it is a formidable weapon to have in your arsenal.

Now I wasn't sure if you had or hadn't replaced the barrel, but I thought that you had. So I guess I'll give this myth a PLAUSIBLE.

It isn't that hard to shoot one shot, or burst with a magstike. That, and with an easy mod, pull out 2 clips before repumping.

Longshots are great, especially with a foregrip.

What was said above about 100+ only being possible with brass breech isn't true.

I believe the PETG Barrel I just tested this morning was 125 feet. (It isn't easy to be exactly accurate with a tape measure, without someone to help with the other end, with a 25' tape measure.)

I do longshots, and frankly, find them to be one of the most useful. That, or magstrikes. (albeit a bit bulky.)

I know, my LS easily got 100' when I took out the AR and put a DT3 spring in it, though the mechanism that pulls the bolt back did end up snapping in the end.

AJAQ, I have a magstrike so I realize that it's not hard to single fire, but even with tape, the clip sill still fall in after about your fourth shot. Also, when your running, will slide in no matter what.
