I bought a mav, and immediately began modding it. Put pennies in, switched the trigger spring, cut off those little nubs preventing it from coming all the way out, etc. And then I finally got to the air restrictors. It seemed pretty simple, but when I finally got down to dremeling the pegs out (I only did it to one to test it), and it seems the ones with the pegs still in fire faster and farther than the ones without. I'm a bit confused. Could someone help me understand?

Mav Troubles?

What darts are you using, you should try putting in new barrels.

Step 3: Buy a NF.
Blasphemy. I think you need to throw yourself against a wall, drive to store and buy yourself a brain.

I'm using stock darts, but that's probably already the reason. But now, unfortunately, it seems I did too many things to it, because now it barely turns and won't fire, for some reason
I think I'll just go buy something else. Too bad I'm on a very limited budget.

Won't rotate? Try Problem #1: Weak Turret Ratchet Mechanism
I bought Kohls.com's last two AirTech 2000s.

Replacing maverick barrels are barely worth the effort. You won't get much range out of it because the stock maverick barrels are fairly tight as it is.
