When you last saw the Double Titan, it leaked, it's ranges sucked, it's shotgun barrel didn't work, and it looked like this:

I few weeks ago, I decided to make it useful.

After some Plumbers goop, 2 new barrels, and ALOT of cosmetic work, it now looks like this:

Posted Image

It is basically a Titan with an AT3K integrated into the top here:

The AT3K and the Titan both use the same pump. The AT3K is connected to the Titan tank via the Tubing where the Gauge used to be. It feeds off the Titan tank, and when fired, it instantly refills itself if there is air left. Now that I fixed the leak and added a better barrel, It can get up to 6 70' shots on one tank. (It only gets 70' because it fires Tagger darts. If I added a longer barrel and used stefans, it would easily reach 100')

It has a pull-ring trigger on the top of the gun, along with an anti-jam mechanism on the side. (occasionally the AT3K valve sticks open, in which case you can just push the anti-jam button and it manually closes the valve)

I used a piece off of the LS front gun to cover up a few holes and secure the anti-jam mech:

Half way through re-modding the gun, I discovered that 1/2" steel pipe has a perfect fit with tagger darts, and has almost zero friction with them. That allows me to load darts one after another down the dart with no problem. The current barrel can fire 6 taggers at once to ranges of about 80' (once again, stefans with a different barrel could get 100+ easily, but I don't use stefans)

This thing is extremely fun to use in a war. I can usually hit 2 people at once with the blast, and the AT3K makes a very good backup weapon. I know from personal experience that it is impossible to dodge a blast from this thing, as my friend shot me with it at least 10 times, and I have no doubt that he wanted to marry that thing.

Thats nice! I love it! you should put a turret or some kind of clip for the 3k though, that would make it better. Nice job though! Sweet!

You could add a ball valve to the vinyl line between the titan tank and the AT3K tank in order to regulate the air used in each shot. You would leave it open while pumping, then close it to fire with the 3K tank, then open again to let more air in. I'm sure you'd get more shots off without re-pumping, and you wouldn't have to worry about losing all of the air stored in the titan tank when your 3K valve sticks. You also wouldn't have to worry about trying to open and shut the 3K valve as quickly as you can in order to conserve air.

A really small ball valve and fitting shouldn't run you much more than $10 bucks, and it will increase efficiency without reducing range (as long as you put it in the right place.

It's a good idea, but adding a ball valve to it would add alot of extra hassle. As it is, the AT3K lets in more air automatically, and it's extremely easy to quickly close the valve using the Anti-jam mech, since it's so close to the trigger. I'm extremely happy with its performance as of now, and I see no need to try to improve it farther.

If I do open and shut the 3k valve as quickly as I can, I can get 8 shots out of it. 6 shots it from doing it at a comfortable pace. It's much easier than it might seem.

And honestly, I doubt that there is room for a ball valve... the At3K was hard enough to get in there in the first place.

Thats nice! I love it! you should put a turret or some kind of clip for the 3k though, that would make it better. Nice job though! Sweet!

Thanks! A turret or clip for the 3k would be nice, but it really only takes a couple seconds to load a new dart, since the barrel is so short. I also don't have alot of experience with clips, and I'd be afraid of ruining the gun.

Very nice. Now I have to try this. Although, since you've done this and I haven't, would it be much harder to just use the hornet trigger? :D

If you Nerf in western washington, PM me

So you see a penguin walking down the street. Looks harmless right, so you keep on walking past him. You turn around to seem him walk away, only to find yourself staring down the barrel of a .38 revolver.

That depends on where you integrate the 3K. If you put it where I did, It's going to be extremely difficult (if not impossible) to get it to work with the hornet trigger. If you integrate it into the bottom section in the handle, it might be possible, and the hornet trigger would be much more comfortable to use if you can get that to work :D Good Luck!
