Did you guys see that? I just about shiat my pants. Neo fighting about 200 Agent Smiths...Trinity on that motorcycle...dayam. I...am speechless. What was your impression? Joel Silver said that, "the bar for visual effects has been raised so high that there is no bar." What do you think?

Even though my family managed to talk through the whole thing from start to end, I saw enough that I was hooked. It's going to be a great year for movies, I can tell right now. This May is going to be great, same goes for November, when the Matrix movies come out. Can't wait.

("The Hulk" looked like a sick movie too)

Insane. I loved it.
And for this one part where they used a highway, they built that highway near me, for the movie. But then destroyed it afterwards. I wish I knew about it earlier.
That was about the only commercial that I liked, or better yet, the only part I liked about the Superbowl. Oh, and they commercials with the chicks in bikinis. :D

I thougth the Clydesdales playing football with the zebra ref was pretty good, along with the guy with the dog on his head. Budweiser traditionally has the best commercials.

I thought the two above commercials were pretty lame, along with all the other ones. I was pretty disapointed in the quality of beer commercials this year. The Matrix ad was pretty cool, especially the fighting with the quarterstaff. I never really got very much into the first matrix though. I fail to see whats so wonderful about it. It was an alright action movie and everything, but I've seen better, more compelling movies than the matrix.

The first matrix film was dripping with religious and philosophical references, which appealed to most geeks, including myself. You have to watch it more than once to really appreciate what the Wachowski Bros. did. It kinda set the standard for sci-fi action movies after it was released...and it most definately took other people some time to duplicate what the Wachowski Bros. had created visually.

Naw, a while back some kid on NHQ brought back they earliest topic in the database and said "woohoo! i posted in the first NHQ topic!" And with that, his post was deleted, and his IP was banned.

It couldn't have been the first topic because NHQ at one point had a pruning system which would delete the old topics, including the first topic so that kid went through all the trouble of posting ina 1 year+ old topic for nothing.
