I don't use profanity on forums, unless it is for significant humorous effect, or to emphasize a point. As a general rule, profanity makes you sound immature and unintelligent. If you cannot retort to an arguement without resorting to strong language, you need to rethink your arguement.
Edit: I would say cxwq's response qualifies as 'significant humorous effect'

What the deuce? Those aren't curse-words... Even in the UK, "bloody" ain't too bad on its own. Which is why it's usually followed by "fucking."Nope, Theres no reason for it. sept for bliddy and bloody(my favorites)
Example:
Attaching a scope to a Nerf gun is just bloody fucking stupid.

Oh, gosh, golly gee, no! Heavens! Aah, maybe once or twice.
But I'm all for people expressing themselves here. Some speak a better language if it's spiced up with lots of peppery hot words.
I believe I have enough of a grasp of the English language where I can get most of my intended communication without resorting to profanity.
But for many, it's the best way they can communicate, and I'm a big boy, I can handle it. But my son and daughter don't even know the meanings of such words, so I'll choose to keep them from it for now. It won't be long before they're fully immersed in it (after all, some of my son's favorite movies (Black Hawk Down) had lots of profanity in it...he just didn't pay attention to the language as much as the gunfire.)

Now one could make the comment that habit doesn't justify poor word usage, but seriously, I'm not trying to win a fucking peace prize.

Cussing, cursing, swearing, using profanity: All I have to say is why the hell not.
Because every time you do God kills a kitten.
Everytime you miss an opportunity to say 'fuck' I'm going to eat a kitten.

On that note:
Fuck, Shit, Bitch, Damn, Ass.
As in:
Damn man, I fucked the shit out of that bitch's ass last night. And then I found out it was YOUR MOM!!!
See, just words, they don't have any power except what you give to them.

Over usage pisses me off though.
Its like alcohol or marijuana. Use them, but use them responsibly.
I don't feel the way I used to do.
I know its bad,
After what we had,
But I’m just not the angel you knew.

Gotta say though, when we were going around America on tour and hit some real bible belt areas, where even "damn" is an "OMG CUSS WORD" you guys are in a really.. strange.. country..

If you have sensitive parents, they might have a seizure when they hear that "gun" has now become: gat, strap, chrome, steel, piece, (packin' and packin' heat refer to carrying guns), heat, Eight plus one (a 9mm gun), Macs (10s or 11s), pump (shotgun), and Techs (Tech 9s). "Shot" has become splattered, whacked, capped, 187'ed (187 is the police code for a homicide), iced, run down, gunned down, busted, jumped, 86'ed, etc. These aren't technically "curses," but they have a similar effect in public.
If you want to see if we "cuss," go here: (Discalimer: I am not responsible for anyone being offended or laughing their ass off while viewing these.)
Try this.
Or this.
This one has World of Warcraft Characters!
Grand finale.
Asking someone if they "cuss" is like askin' someone in the 'hood if they do Mary-J. "We all do it, most of us abuse it, and you best get fuckin' used to it."
I've made my point.

EDIT -- FA_24, is marijuana legal in Canada or something? Or was that just another joke? I would look it up, but I don't want my parents to see me Googling anything involving legal marijuana.
