Kinda makes me want to try a compressed air integration with maybe a paintball tank and a titan like CS. This looks like a WD-40 Can or another Aerosol type can. Looks Like it shoots pretty hard.

What is with the members of this forum and wanting to make something that is higher up on the danger scale than Nerf?

Just so you know, that's a can of Air Duster MEANT to dust off computers, keyboards, and other electrical devices; NOT to shoot homemade darts out at a velocity that I am sure would more than break skin.

We all know that Nerf darts can be painful. More than 75% of the darts that hit me at DCNO I barely felt. One I littlely thought my teammate threw me a dart when I shooted I was out. They don't hurt that much. Why try and make this hobby dangerous?

First the thread with intent to commit a crime with a high powered cannon. Now this? You guys have been here long enough to find out how to modify a Nerf gun. Step 2 is to get up off your asses and stop watching youtube or whatever and get out and Nerf for shit sakes. Enough is enough.

... I am not saying that this is what nerf should be. I'm saying this is the same concept as a compressed air gun... Which is my current project.

Anyway, I saw this video previosly and made this, must say it works like a charm! Have fun with it...I've always wondered if canned air would work well in Nerf guns, but just never had the time to do it. Good find there Substance Abuse.

I personally don't like any nerf guns with removable air-sources. I thinks that that kinda stuff is for Paintball, and I think the nice part of nerf is you don't have to pay for refils for your gun, but that's just me.

It's a CONCEPT AND IDEAS thread. Something we don't need. It's is off-topic...why would it be related to Nerf then? If anything General Nerf. Maybe I seem to be backseating it a bit, but it's how I feel. I'm not inforcing jack **** here.

Plus, this has been down before and you even said so. CaptainSlug has used both the pumping version and HPA. And been successful. We don't need a concept behind trying to use an external pressure source to power a nerf gun.

Another thing. Someone has tried the same thing in the video with a bigger barrel for Nerf. They got aobut 40 or 50 feet with a stock micro in PVC.

Paying to refill an air tank is like $3. Whoopdie doo! Its the cost of the paintballs that bothers me and how easy it is to just waste them.

I did it... It was as good as I thought it would work... Now to try one of these with my titan. I surprisingly got about 20 feet with the air dust thing.
