Does anyone know any mods for it. I'd like it to use megas, as most of my arsenal does. I'd just make one on my own but I don't want to ruin it. Well thanks in advance.

An sm500 was my first gun ever... You might wanna look at Sniper5k's site (if it's still up...) for a mod.

What I did was do the normal glueing of the valve... It's been a while, but all I remember was it took me about two hours to actually take it apart. Just be careful with the internals if you open it up (which you wouldn't be) because the stupid springy thingy always comes out...

For a barrel mod, you cut the barrel off about three inches (I'm pretty sure, check on Sniper5k's site just in case) and stick in a PVC pipe, there's your megas.

For minis if you want, just put a piece of brass inside the PVC.

Mystic, good to have you back. Thanks for the help, but are you sure that the pvc fits in the barrel? oh and theres this thing that like held the air restrictor or something sould I cut that off? I've already cut the barrel preety much. If you wanta pic I can get one by tonite.

You should cut off the barrel only leaving about 3 inches of the original white barrel left(Which means you do cut off the air restrictor part). The PVC should fit very nicely in that original barrel. I would also recommend that you plug the pump. You won't need to open the gun up to do this, so it's rather safe.

Ugh, I can't find my sm500 anywhere... For the plugging of the pump, you'll hafta use a hacksaw to cut off the red ring around the pump area, and that takes about an hour

I've already plugged the pump. Your guns seem to be a little different than mine. I have the small soldiers one. I've just been waiting to cut the barrel 'til I knew what to do. Thanks guys.

...I do believe that they are both the same... However, the Small Soldiers version has that "scope" thingy on the top... E-Mail me a pic (I finally saw your e-mail) and I'll take a look...

well there a two, the green one with a stock is a 5000 and the red pistol is the 500. And mystic, I'll get you that pic asap, so like later tonite.

That's the best pic I've ever seen... LOtR in the background... And pages with a "Mystic Moose" camping thing... lol

...It looks like you should be able to stick a piece of PVc loosely... That's how its supposed to be...

The air restrictor is the same as the normal SM500...

The third pic doesn't look like anything...

What exactly is the problem? It all looks like the piece of PVC could fit, is it not fitting?
