Well, I was just thinking. Why don't we contact Hasbro via e-mail and phone, sending in our designs for our slightly shorter range homemade guns. Who knows? It may start production of our dream nerf guns. And we can make Boltsniper very happy by getting him the number for job registry. He has the ability to revolutionize nerf. And there's no doubt they won't hire him.

Today, mavericks and longshots, tommorow, full auto machine guns.

No. Boltsniper has a job and doesn't need one at Hasbro. Hasbro also won't randomly hire people who come up with cool shit.

They manufacture children's toys and the people who work there are paid to come up with designs that would entertain little kids. Hasbro has the "designs" they need for full-autos already, that's why they've already built four of them. They're not going to listen to a bunch of teenagers with half-assed designs. Or boltsniper. We don't need to contact Hasbro because people from Hasbro read these forums already. If they haven't used any of the designs here in the last three years they're not going to if people start bothering them.

Me and my friends drew many designs. Maybe like 10-20. Sent them to hasbro via mail. And they said they couldnt take our drawings it was against some rule. But they had people designing the guns. So forget it.

Asking Hasbro to put into production nerf guns we draw up is, as said before, ridiculous. The people who design them KNOW what they're doing. As far as Bolt designing guns, I'll double what Monkey said, Hasbro DOES read these forums, ask (OMC EDIT) OMC or Groove, or Talio. They were invited to Hasbro HQ. It would be nice to hire, CaptainSlug, per sey, but if Hasbro hasn't already, us nagging them to do it isn't going to help any more either.

They aren't going to hire any of us, PERIOD!

You also need to remember that these are TOYS made for children. We modify and create these guns for fun.

Guys this is the best idea I have ever read on these forums! I can't believe we haven't thought of it before! Seriously, that was such brilliant idea! I'll see what I can do. I suggest you start writing letters now and see if you can get Famine to draft an email petition.

Yeah, I've heard of something like this happening. Sarcasm!

Somewhere in corporate offices in Pawtucket, some Hasbro employee is reading this and laughing and showing it to his coworkers. It's ridiculous.

We know already.

We don't need someone to go get hired with Hasbro to help design guns and take their money from them.

We are lucky enough to have 2 (or is it 3 now) ambassitors that get to put their imput to Nerf Hasbro for free.

If you are like me and value their opinion when they go and imput on what Hasbro is about to release like me, then what else could you ask for?

I too already have a job and don't really want to change employment. Nor do I want to live in the area where their factory is located.
If you want a job in a certain company there's this document called a RESUME that lists your qualifications for a certain position.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

I don't know what Camden, NJ has anything to do with, but here's the deal for those of you who don't know. I'm in a good mood. A rarity these days so take advantage.

Back before the N-Strike Set was first released, Spanky at NHQ from Hasbro. They were looking for a group of "Nerf enthusiasts" to come up and check out their new stuff. This was an opportunity of a life time, but do to legal restrictions, they were looking for guys/gals 18+ who could pay for their own transport. (We later learned Hasbro would spring for a hotel for a night so we wouldn't have to drive so many miles in one day).

Spanky couldn't go, living in CA and all, so he sent it to The Infinite Shindig. LCMers at the time were all under 18, so he sent it to me. I immediately jumped at the chance and contacted Hasbro. I also immediately invited Talio as I knew it was his wet dream at the time too.

Long story short, that was our first trip up there. We toured the facilities and saw what it takes to make the blasters we love. They were as impressed with us as we were with them. I'm sure they expected Talio and I to be uber nerds, but they were definitely surprised by the amount of stuff we knew and our level of professionalism.

Groove went along with Talio and I 2 years ago. I asked if we could bring a fresh pair of eyes and some new brains to the meetings. TIS and Groove were the logical choices, but TIS couldn't make it

We have been back every year since, except this year. Not a big deal really. It's mostly because our key contact there was on sick leave for a while this year. The community is privileged to get any information directly from them, so don't do something stupid (it should be obvious now) to jeopardize it.

If any of us ever hears anything, we are the first to post it. It does us no personal gain to keep the info to ourselves. We have had to tread lightly on some legal issues before, but our relationship has grown to one of professional trust. You are lucky to reap the benefits of our meetings.

I think that should cover it.

I don't think Hasbro is gonna acknowledge any ideas we have, because they most likely will consider it dangerous. Hasbro is targeting little kids to buy their stuff, thats why all their commercials are rediculously little kiddish.
