I like it.

You would be surprised how accurate these things can get with the correct ergonomics in place (stock, correct length, well-placed handles).

Have you experimented with shotgunning darts?

Just wondering: where does the dart load in?

Yep, I've used it to shotgun about 5 darts in the manner of a mortar in a few games, usually with pretty satisfactory results. Oh, and it loads through the barrel.

i have 2 questions.

1 when you put it in your backpack do you have to add lubricant when you take it out? because it would touch the sides of the backpack and it might help to put some silicone spray or something.

2 how much is shipping for the $5 gun?

I don't know about the selling thing, it still has it's "what if's" here and there. Oh and the gun just needs a quick spray with WD-40 and you're pretty much good to go. Maybe if I don't feel as lazy, I'll do a right up. I just have to think about a few solutions, since the original gun is basically what you call a "bitzer" , or otherwise uses bits and pieces I found in my garage, and not all of it is available at the local Home Depot. I have to think up a way to substitute for the plunger tube, without having to use some of that thick-ass 1 In. PVC tubing, since it will kill the lightweightness of the gun.

Not good. WD-40 eats O-rings, so you'd better be careful about that one. I recommend some silicone lubricating spray instead. It works much better in my experience, and is O-ring friendly. Other than that, the idea is sound and simple.

Ok, because I play airsoft sometimes, and I have some silicone lube. I didn't know it eats O-rings though. Thanks for the advice. Now I know why my ball valve is leaking, I put WD-40 to speed up the opening time. Dear god, maybe it's time to switch to a solenoid. :P

I am very sorry for resurrecting this thread, but I need questions answered...

How did you make this?

Can I have a write up?

The ramrocket is used by pulling or pushing the barrel?

Thank you in advance and...

I know I will get flamed, but I have already pm'ed the guy...

Lynx-

Its not worth it to make. Its manual and with all those parts, you can make a pretty decent springer.

Okay, so 100 feet with anger sounds like too much work then...

I was thinking a plunger and a barrel with fishing line in to stop the destruction of darts. Sounds like a blow gun is more probable..
