Sorry but there is no pictures.

A few days ago I had a nerf war with friends. Bullets were everywhere in my house and today, my dad found one of my dart tag bullets (because it is indoor and we don't want stefans or anything to dent walls) in the thing ontop of a window (it is a small ledge on the window that can raise up in down opening and closing the window) anyways.... the dart tag dart was... white! It was quite cool, I don't know if the colour would return or not but I may try it with FBR soon to see if I change it to white FBR. Just kind of cool I guess. If this has been done before, sorry.

The dye used to color the foam in stock darts fades when left in sunlight, I have not noticed a similar trend with either Frost King Foam or FA24's red FBR.

If it works for you though, good on you.

No, that dart simply had two recessive genes and is now an albino dart. :|

You didn't know that ultraviolet light can bleach things? The FBR used to make stefans is color set using a pigment in the plastic that won't fade as readily under UV light.

The little critters of nature, they don't know that they're ugly. That's very funny, a fly marrying a bumble bee. I told you I'd shoot, but you didn't believe me. Why didn't you believe me?

So, how I understood it was that you left the dart in direct sun light for three days, that's it? Or was there something I missed. If you just did that, then it just faded.

My user name is pronounced "eat shit." I know that losing is looked down apon in nerf, but, what ever.

Couldn't you just buy white FBR?

The only white FBR I found was very dense and stiff. Every dart I made from it fishtailed or was very, very inaccurate.

I broke my clippers trying to cut the spring. So I couldn't break the spring with my bare hands so I used a hammer to pound the clipper handle and one of the clippers broke off.

This has happened to me too. I don't like to do it because I worry about it compromising the foam itself, but it may not. It's just a cosmetic difference, but do it if it makes you happy. :(

I've got some. We'll see how well it does come next weekend.

Why not just buy red FBR from Forsaken?

I think he's doing this for cosmetic reasons and not just so he has an easier time finding his darts.

I've "sun-bleached" a couple of my darts before on accident. I have yet to notice any huge change in performance.

Rain does the same thing to taggers.

Yeah, Iv will deteriorate the foam if it's left too long. Just like UV eventually destroys polyurethane foam.
